The problem is i am not getting what i paid for. I spent time researching a tv to buy and i negotiated a good deal, how the hell can they take my money and then say i cant have it??
Many i am just uber-naive but that to me smacks of dishonesty.
So you get your money back to go and buy it somewhere else. Still cannot see the problem. Sorry.0 -
Maybe i was foolish for using a debit card,
Have you actually got the money in your bank account or will you be back on here in a few days complaining that you haven't been refunded?0 -
My main problem is that its very unlikely i will get the same item for the same price elsewhere.
Sorry for whoever asked about which tv i wasn't being rude iam just fed up of being flamed by trolls in this forum. It was an LG 42LS575T.
I kinda get the point now guys you can all ease up on me. I still think its wrong. If i ran a tv shop and took someones money for tv promised them they have it within a week. I would be totally ashamed to then turn around and say sorry cant do it. I would do my damndest to find my customer a solution, nit just shrug and say 'what can i do i can't give you what i havent got'
Perhaps i shoudl set up my own shop, BUY STUFF WE DONT HAVE Plc??0 -
Why al this fuss when its just a tv, you have been offered a refund which puts you back where you were at the start. Either find a retailer whether bricks and mortar or a web presence who sell the same tv or similar one and buy it.0

What about the 42LS570T? Isn't this the same TV?0

The solution is they offered a refund, althought not the tv you wanted. If they cant get the stock what more do you want them to do, many reasons why they can't source it anymore eg its a line discontinued by the company or the manf which wasn't known at the time you paid.
They shouldn't have accepted payment but you shouldn't have paid with no tv to take home.0 -
From doing a online search. Looks like everywhere has no stock.
So perhaps the issue is the manufacture not producing enough to keep up with supplies.
Even amazon is quoting 1 to 4 weeks.
Just tried to order click and collect and no local has any. It does offer online. but without going to enter card details will not give stock levels.
I do agree its not very good service, but at least they have done the decent thing and admitted the error.Never ASSUME anything its makes a>>> A55 of U & ME <<<0 -

OK im dropping this now unless zoob can help me out, but i still dont understand why they told me at the time of order that stock was available, and available this week and then they tell me none is available at all. OK it happens but you have to admit from a customers view its shoddy. Its not discontinued, their webiste says it can be available within 1-2 weks for an online order, so really !!!!!!??0 -
