Bank sent someone elses statement

personally I would report them to the FOS for giving out somebody elses bank details, in view of ID fraud this wont go down to well.....If Nationwide can get fined for dumping account details on the street, then this bank should be fined for submitting another persons PERSONAL BANKING details.I requested my statements from Natwest about 8 weeks ago and they turned up today. (Well I thought they had)
I opened the letter and my statements were there so I thumbed through them and there are about 70 pages.
Now I always had two accounts with Natwest, one beginning 437 and one beginning 949.
The top statements were my 437 account statements but as I flicked through I noticed there was an account number beginning 948.
Natwest have only gone and sent me someone else's statements. A whole 50 pages of them:mad:
So I take it I need to ring Natwest about this but surely this is serious?

Recently got my list of charges back from one of the major banks and
also included in the paperwork was an email request and list of charges for another customer!
Phoned the bank to ask what I should do with it and just commented to the chap on the phone "should I bin it" to my surprise he said "yes bin it" !
After putting the phone down realised that perhaps this wasn't the best idea and have now complained to the relevant authorities plus a letter to the bank returning the details detailing the phone call. Is this increased work load beginning to get to the staff or perhaps too much Christmas spirit?

If I was you I would name and shame the bank. Have you thought about contacting a national newspaper or TV channel? This is not on especially now with all these 'information disks' going missing!!0
