Another thing that don't add is either the car was released to him or it wasn't. If it was released and there was a delay in collecting yes charge. But as the garage wouldn't return the car it hasnt been released, so they can't charge the OP. Something isn't right here.

I think the op was talking about confusion between the police and the garage. The car wasn't released to him despite having a letter from the police saying he could have it back, as the garage said they had not heard directly from the police confirming that it could be released. Given that the o/p seems to have been involved in a serious offence it doesn't surprise me that the garage wants to be careful about releasing the car before making 100% sure that the police have finished with it.

Rix195 - I don't have any specific advice on the car charges, but wanted to wish you well for the future, whatever it holds.

Yeah and as I said, if the garage haven't heard from the police they should not be charging the OP.

Marlot, Thanks I'm just so worried about my trial and whats going to happen to me. I can't go to sleep at night as I keep worrying about the trial as the date is coming closer day after day. Pray for me as you can never know perhaps god might listen to someone else's prayer and might help me. But I will keep on praying for my self everyday until my trial comes. It's times like this when we get ourselves into a mess that we remember god. It's a shame on me I should have prayed more and should of been more religious. Then perhaps I could of been more stronger and wouldn't have listened to the wispers from the devil in my ear putting bad thoughts into my head and making me do wrong only if I had a stronger heart and turned to god earlier I wouldn't of found myself in this mess. I hope god answers my prayers soon and helps me.

It wasn't the devil or any other celestial being whose existence is yet to be proven that made you do it, you made that choice yourself.

I will give you one piece of advice.
    Get a new solicitor !
Not applying for bail will be used in evidence at your trial like a carrot to the jury.
Just about a complete admission of guilt.
    Be happy...;)

Same here, we all make mistakes in this life, because we're human.
Yes it's overwhelming, but what else can we do?
Get jobs in offices and wake up for the morning commute?

    Really?

Can you tell us how they can use that then?

Same way the prosecution (or defence) use anything, they tell the jury what happened and then sit back and let them read in to it for themselves.

It won't count as any kind of actual evidence, but the jury are human and you can't guarantee they won't let personal opinion sway any decision they make.
