We went to Rookley Country Park (156) a couple of years ago & it was very good. Fishing lake in the middle. The pool is a bit small but fine.

Thanks, ooo a fishing lake the OH mite like that! Was it ok to get to stuff outside the park easy? Walking distance etc?
Ok new year and a baby on the way I need to sort out my finances!

i would say the only down side to devon cliffs and to me this is a huge downside, is the steep slope to the beach, i could not get down there with my pushchair and my 3 year old as i went on my own, it is so steep it takes all your strengh to stop it rolling down whilst trying to hold hands with a small child at the same time . the site itself is fine, we use the BIL caravan so does not cost anything but think we will wait til we have no pushchairs !!

Also, it should be said that the whole park is on the 'hilly' side so if you do have limited mobility or heavy pushchairs or wheelchairs then it can make life very difficult. Lovely park though and some fantastic views from many parts of the park :-)
