    My cheque debited by account today so I assume I have one of my choices. What happens next?
  • The entertainment passes are optional so should be able to remove one no problem, I'm taking my own lining as its not much space needed for sheets, pillow cases and quilt cover witch is what you are paying for and the outstanding payments is around 6 wks prier to going but if you call the number given to you on the invoce you can request the deadline date while removing the extra pass. Hope that helps

    I would phone the park to check, because I have found that things have changed this year from previous years. I have been booking with the Sun holidays for 6 years now. For the 1st time this year I have been told that I cannot remove unwanted entertainment passes - there is just me and my DS going. I was told that I either have to keep them all or remove them all. Also, I was only given 14 days from date of invoice to pay the outstanding balance, and from reading this thread many others have also only been given 14 days.

    You will receive a letter informing you of your allocated park and dates. An invoice from the park will follow shortly after, and you will be told when to pay the outstanding balance of the invoice. Be careful to ensure that you pay the invoice in time otherwise you will loose all the money you have already paid and your holiday booking.

    I'm sorry you was told that, I booked with haven and have been told this only a few days ago that I had till mid June (6 wks prier to us going) to pay the outstanding ballance and was asked very politely if We was happy with all the entertainment passes when i called to remove the linin, I called to find out as I had heard about many having to pay within 14 days including some friends but these all seam to be with different providers, they even restated that payment was not needed till 6 wks prier when I asked to pay now so I didn't spend it as had put it up just incase payment was needed now

    I'm sorry you was told that, I booked with haven and have been told different, I had till mid June (6 wks prier to us going) to pay the outstanding ballance and was asked very politely if We was happy with all the entertainment passes when i called to remove the linin so I am wondering if some sales staff are giving different advice, I called the 08712301922 number and they even went into the payment section as I wanted to pay now so I didn't have to call the payment number (didn't want to risk spending it after putting it up just incase), fingers crossed for nice weather on your holiday

    My holiday is with Park Resorts, so perhaps different holiday parks have different policies, as this is the 1st time that I have been told that I cannot remove unwanted entertainment passes. I spoke to the park direct, not a central booking center.

    I would therefore recommend that each person checks with their park what their policy is regarding entertainment passes and how long they have to pay the outstanding balance, and don't presume that what one park allows another will also allow.

    I think it is a park resort issue and next time I will book Haven or Butlins
    14 days to pay the balance is not realistic.
    They also emailed the booking whereas it has always been posted, so we didn't receive ours , I assume it went in a spam trap, but they told us it has been read ! I did advise them that if the booking is going to be emailed then they should advise people with their confirmation that they need to add the email provided to their address book.

    Very poor customer service at park resorts and I won't be using them again.

    Thank you for all your replies. I will ring them on Monday and see what they say about the passes and the payment due date.
    If I choose to leave linen off am I right in thinking that this means that they will provide duvets and pillows and we provide our own covers/sheets?

    My ballance also said due now in the email but I think that is more a wording issue as I had already spoken to them to see if they could tell me if I had a holiday as even now I have had no contact from the sun and they had already informed me when the ballance was due by so it is highly recommened to contact them and ask for payment date deadline, also only letter I have received is my final booking one that I need to present when we go and was even given the option of email/post or both
