have you booked yet? if not i think you may find a better holiday, ive never saved anything booking pontins through sun holidays as they are often very cheap anyway. Of all the pontins im sad to say we found this one the worst and only stayed one night, the reviews arent great. If you have already booked, dont panic, they are doing things up so its probably changed - check out reviews x x
Yes already booked, sat here in tears, devastated now spoiled my daughters first holiday by the sounds of it!!0 -

Just a quick question though....are all sun hols chalets. (hafan y mor) I usually book direct standard caravan and when i used the sun booking site it said standard caravan but got to wait til 28th feb for booking from the actual park to confirm. Imnot really bothered either way but would def prefer a caravan.
Good luck to those still to book
I went to Hafan Y Mor in September and was allocated a chalet. I was dreading it after an awful chalet experience at a Pontins site (where I lasted only 1 night), but it was actually really lovely. Nice, clean, modern and heating in all the rooms. The bathroom and kitchen were obviously quite new, as was the rest of the furniture. But I was given a free upgrade, so not sure if all the chalets are as nice as the one we had.0 -

Awwww, don't cry, a holiday is what you make of it. There will be a beach outside and a swimming pool, and crazy golf ... you'll have fun

Didn't get anywhere we wanted for May half term so booked to Hafan y Mor instead based on feedback from forum members so hoping it will be a good one0

Thank you so much for the codes! Any tips on getting May 1/2 term? I keep being offered my other dates!
I've booked May half-term week (thanks to all on here for tomorrow's code!!) and out of all the sites in Yorkshire, Humberside and Lincolnshire, I was offered 2 Park Resorts sites. TBH I wasn't really bothered about which site I went to, just pleased about getting the 4 days in school holidays. We went to another Park Resorts a couple of years ago and it was great.0 -

If you just use it as a base, then it will be OK. Don't worry, you and your daughter will have a nice time even if the accommodation isn't up to much0 -

Dont panic! like others have said you can go off site too and when we last went to pontins it was camber and it was all being done up. It was much nice looking than previously and they still had lots to do. Little ones always love it no matter what and a holiday is what you make of it. If you arent happy with anything go and tell someone and just take advantage of everything on offer - if its little ones first holiday it`ll be amazing no matter where it is. When are you going?? The beach is nice and theres a pool etc and liek others have said theres a local sea life centre etc too.....save up your tesco vouchers before you go (if you shop there) and have a day there too. x x0 -

Yes i agree the chalets are quite nice. Had leather sofa in the last one. I go with the family quite often maybe 2/3 times a year. Im only abour a hour slow drive away. Its just having not booked with the sun for nearly two years i couldn`t remember if it was chalet or caravan.
Might ring them up and upgrade to caravan - but not bothered either way:D2013 Sealed Pot Challenge Member #1960
