I am the only one that wants to go:(
But as far as driving goes in france, it really is much easier than it is
in the uk.

My kids are so excited to go there, but we might only be able to manage one day, depends how much money I save :rotfl:0 -

Mine can sometimes take me to slightly the wrong place - but that's because it's about 7 years old and I've never updated it! I find printing a Google Maps before you go just in case makes me worry less about it. And the French are pretty good with their signposting.
Yes, I think a printout is a good idea0 -

I've been to another Pontins but not that one. Try the website and ask for them to send you a brochure? Or get a brochure from a travel agents in town, if you don't want to be on their mailing list.
They will have a swimming pool and a club-house type place which will have a soft play area.
We didn't spend much time onsite when we went to the Southport one but I remember the crazy golf was free and there was a playpark. My youngest liked the swimming pool. My nephew enjoyed the kids disco entertainment - there was a crocodile character, and somebody in a banana suit iirc.
We weren't keen on the chalet if I'm honest, but a holiday is what you make of it. We've been to the Haven which is pretty close to prestatyn pontins, and the beach has really good sand dunes. If the weather is awful you could go to the big indoor waterpark (rhyl sun centre I think it's called?) and there's a sea life centre.
Wherever we stay in Wales we always end up catching the bus to Llandudno :rotfl:
have you booked yet? if not i think you may find a better holiday, ive never saved anything booking pontins through sun holidays as they are often very cheap anyway. Of all the pontins im sad to say we found this one the worst and only stayed one night, the reviews arent great. If you have already booked, dont panic, they are doing things up so its probably changed - check out reviews x x0 -
It will soon come around and at least that means plenty of time for saving
Have you been before? I've been to Brittany a couple of times with The Sun, but not this park.
Yes that's true. Time will fly. We have a couple of holidays booked this year, so really need to save our pennies lol.
Went to le chene gris last october and duinerll in holland the year before.
We are going back to duinrell this may ( booked direct), but next year (may)i really fancy trying the spanish, italian or portugeuse parks with the sun.:)0 -
I have tried hundreds of combinations to try and get winkups in towyn for a weekend in May or beginning of June but can't get it offered at all. We can't go to any other park as this is the only one near enough that has a disabled caravan that allows dogsseptember wins - toshiba laptop, timotei shampoo & conditioner, mccains games, pimms picnic blanket.
october wins - grants tumblers, £20 petrol voucher, sega console, iphone
novembers wins - £50 on walkers rainy day, £50 itunes voucher
march wins - dog treats0 -
I got 1st choice and 1st date. Not booked with the sun for a while, didn`t go lasy year - but that was because there was nothing left by the time i booked.
Just a quick question though....are all sun hols chalets. (hafan y mor) I usually book direct standard caravan and when i used the sun booking site it said standard caravan but got to wait til 28th feb for booking from the actual park to confirm. Imnot really bothered either way but would def prefer a caravan.
Good luck to those still to book2013 Sealed Pot Challenge Member #1960

i hope you have a great time! it rained all week when we were there but the entertainment kept us all occupied. we didnt use the pool, its small but you can use the one on their fellow site next door. they had ballet for the youngters, dance clubs, arts, all sorts. we had breakfast with sparky
the children asked when we are going back they loved it so much. we had a silver caravan (upgraded direct from the site) and it was faultless.
Hi what park resorts site is this0 -

I'd love to do Italy next year, but it's the cost of flights which may put me off, unless I can get a really cheap one.0
