better to drive though as you can spend as long as you like there ( we used to leave @ 7.30am and not get back until after the parks close !)

whereas on the coach it's not a full day really

Thanks for that! I'll probably drive to Disney, but if we decide to go into Paris I might get the coach

Yes went last year, absolutely massive site with some unsavoury charachters, fine as a base as long as your van is miles away from the club.

I wouldn't go again.

It will soon come around and at least that means plenty of time for saving

Have you been before? I've been to Brittany a couple of times with The Sun, but not this park.

My friend went there last year and said the place was an absolute dump, but if you are just using it as a base to explore lovely North Wales it will be tolerable.

That was stressful, after being timed out SOOOOOOO many times, finally got our first date with an alternative park in same area so we are off to Southview in Skegness on 28th Oct - half term!! result. We did want butlins but it wasnt offered at all. We are happy though. Total holiday will cost £130-150 ish compared to a caravan we had booked for £300 privately.

So pleased :T

I went there last year. It was quite grim. Accommodation was awful. Dirtyand bbroken and we had upgraded. Stayed haven before and found their parks great. This is really cheap accommodation. They didn't say it was havinga good complete overhaul though. X

I don't mind driving in France (I'm only 24 and have been driving 4 years) - if you have a sat nav they regularly remind you to drive on the correct side of the road! Only problem is people seriously tailgating if you're in the fast lane on the motorways... but there's an easy solution there... stay out of the fast lane!

I wouldn't drive anywhere near central Paris having seen how they drive whilst being on a coach - driving to Disneyland is fine (well it was when we did it from the UK - haven't been to any of the France sites yet). I think it's around 12euros to park at Disney and I believe from reading other threads that there may be a 5euro toll each way from La Croix
