  • Late one from me tonight.
Have had a really busy day, first we had to go shopping and I got a fantastic deal in Aldi a 19 inch hd tv for £49.99 with freeview and it can be used as a computer screen and I can even plug my usb stick in with a film or tv programme that I want to watch, it also has 3 years parts and labour guarantee.
Shouldn't have really because I don't hold out much hope for universal credit, council tax reform or the crooked new PIP test, but DH said it was my early birthday pressie (I thought that was the kelly kettle) but he insisted.
Came back and had to start clearing DD's bedroom with her because DH wants to start decorating this weekend, he aims to have the whole house done by April.

Flutterby glad the op went well x

    Evening all!
Have blitzed the house ready for the visitations tomorrow pre-funeral, and we spent the evening at MILs with her family who arrived from the highlands and islands tonight. Stomach in a knot, but at least the kids are reasonably settled and MIL acting like meltdown never happened! Clothes all organised, hankies at the ready, and fingers crossed after tomorrow everyone will give me some time alone to "greet like a loon", cos the cracks are showing in my hastily erected walls round my emotions!
    RIP Iain
