  • Wow you've achieved amazing things already good luck for the last shove and loving the bed by 10.00 on a school night I think i'm going to do that too I'm fed up of being shattered in work for the sake of watching crap on the tele anyway good luck we've got a school shoe run too !!

Thanks welshdreamer I hope your school shoe run was as fun as mine.

Every school shoe ds2 tried on he said they were too tight or hurting somewhere, but when he tried on a pair of trainers which were the same size but with flashing blue lights he said they were a perfect fit

I am trying to fit in all my spends today but also trying to not spend too much (I don't even think that can work :rotfl:)
The only thing I didn't get to do was go to Mr T's this was in the opposite direction so I thought I would leave it for another day or when I am passing that way.

Paid £50 deposit for DS2 birthday party and his new school shoes cost £30. Luckly these were budgeted for. I didn't need to buy DS1 any shoes after all. We had purchased a pair back in September but they were too big back then and had been put into his wardrobe until they fit....well today they fit:j

Because I didn't get to go to Mr T's I went to Lidl instead and spent £9.04.

I will be working for my mom today but now have to pick something up from Asda for her and go to her house before meeting up at the hall which is near me. I am trying to cut out any unnecessary travel journeys but this may be difficult.

Oh well. I had better get a move on

Yeah back in from work now.
I had 3 black bags of old clothes in my dinning room for the last few months and I wan't sure if I should do another car boot or just take them to the recycle shop. I just got fed up of looking at them so I put them in the boot of my car and on the way back I stopped off at the recycle place and I got £13.65 for them :j
I know I would have got a lot more if I did a car boot but they had been there for ages and I just wanted to get rid. I am now glad I did:D

I have received an email that my union subs have now been cancelled, so that is an extra £9pm saved.
I really want to cancel sky now too. I pay £18pm and I hardly ever watch the channels I pay extra for. The only thing is ds2 watches the kids channels and I can't just have them, ds1 is in his room more often and doesn't watch it anyway. Is it really worth keeping, it cost £216 for a year of cartoons
I think I may give them a call to see if I am still in a contract:cool:

I am going to slimming world tonight. I am sure I have put weight on again. This may have to be the last one I go to.

  • ops ;) sky sub has now been cancelled and will be switched off on 3rd Feb. This includes the recorded facility which is the only good thing about it. There may be little tears on the 3rd.

Ds1 has an ipad and ds2 has a nexus 7, they both have sky go which is from their dads subscription so they can watch stuff on that and record programmes on his sky box:p

Last payment will be £6.38 at the end of this month.

£18 saved from sky and £9 from the union subs = £324 over the next year. I think I will save this in a separate account and splash out come debt free time :D

Feeling chuffed with moi :) but now starting to feel sick about going to slimming world

  • As expected I put another 1lb on this week
I have been trying to lose weight on SW for the last 10 weeks and I am 2lbs heavier than when I started:mad: That it just so awful. I know the plan works but it is not working for me right now.
I have decided to call it a day and just need to let the leader know that I will not be returning. I have purchased the new books so I wil try and do this on my own. I only need to lose 2stones in one year, how hard can it be? Seriously :rotfl:

Anyway, I have just come back from a 1 hour bike ride with DS1 and DS2, so that is my exercise for the day done.:j

  • Good and bad news in the post. Received Barclaycard statement and I was hoping that the balance would be £3993.69 but it was £4005.52. I had under estimated how much to overpay so that the balance would be under £4k. Never mind, I know it will be under £4k on the next statement.

Received a £10 post office order (thingy) through the post from a company I do a survey for every year. Have now exchanged it into hard earned cash:D

Finally received email from QVC re my 2nd item returned. I should get £15.32 back onto my card.

NSD again so everything is going well so far:money:

  • My laptop is now not working. Went to plug in the charger last night and something had blown in the charger, laptop is OK but I can't charge it to use it. I did replace the charger about 3 months ago, so I will have to get another one.
Went for another bike ride with ds2 last night instead, it was his idea to go out in the dark. I must admit I did enjoy it.

On line banking checked. Have now received refund from Apple :j
Now need to get ready to go boxing later. Kids go first and then I have my session. It should be an adult boxing class but only I turn up every week. So I get a personal fitness trainer for an hour for free:D OH pays the 2 pound fee ;)
(Where is the pound sign on this thing? I can only find the $ sign )
I hope it's another nsd, I shall leave the shopping until tomorrow.

  • Haven't been able to update for a while due to my laptop not charging. Finally received a replacement charger:j
Will update later. I have enjoyed not being glued to it but all my passwords and spreadsheets were on there so I couldn't access things on anything else.

Note to self write passwords down and keep them somewhere safe and save spreadsheets onto my USB stick;)
