    Hi everyone,

The jewellery boxes sound beautiful. I hope that the making goes well.

I've just bought some of these :-
    http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B00570HY8Y/ref=redir_mdp_mobile?keywords=finger%20puppets&qid=1375106093&ref_=sr_1_1&sr=8-1

10 finger puppets for £2 including delivery.

I bought them a couple of years ago for my best friends kids, they love them, think it is funny to put them on their tootsies!
A smile costs little but creates much :)
  • OMG, those finger puppets are SO cute.

    I love them!!

    :T

What age group would you say they are suitable for? My neices are 3 and 4 years old, do you think that's too young? Maybe a choking hazard? I'm not a mother and I really have no idea. :o

    Thanks in advance. :D

I think they'd be great for that age. My dd is 3 and loves this kind of thing. :)

Hows everyone doing, I've spent today sorting out the extra buys and stuff stored upstairs, found some more prezzies, - so next plan - (after Miss Hoodie goes back to school) - spend a couple of days getting them sorted into peoples bags - reckon all done, plus a couple of spares.

Next week - sort out Miss Hoodies plants - we brought
    Rasberry
    Blackberry
    Red Gooseberry
    Something forgot!! -

Need to replant them into bigger pots - keep me out of trouble!! thats after finsing out whats happening to our cooker....!!

Hi Cheshire kittycat welcome to the thread . Think the puppets would be well suitable for the 3+

Lol at mum2 one already organising when miss hoodie going back to school. Plants sound interesting

Rufus I'm not sure what kids and teens like these days perhaps mum2 one can give us an insight

I like the sound of the jewellery boxes. Have you any photos or instructions rom.

Moneypenny love the xstitch, gorgeous as usual. And well done on the bargains.

I been decoupaging some photo frames and little boxes in Christmas paper. Great fun but messy , oddly I find it very therapeutic . Had an hospital appointment yesterday afternoon. Thought it strange on a saturday . Welled they ruled out another thing. Just wish instead of pass the parcel with the doctors someone could guess right. I've seen 7 doctors in three months now. I think they all guessing. I seem to be a mystery... Nothing new there then

    =Bargain Buy=

I'd thought my shopping was done, but found the 3 pounds off on binxie.com with free shipping and bought a baby shower gift for a friend whose shower will be coming up in a few months. Turtle baby shower toy, RRP 10.95, for no money delivered :money:

    =Christmas Planning=

My lists are looking good :)

    =Christmas Cards

I need to get stamps, but I'm not doing cards until the baby is born and I can make an adorable kid picture to add in it. The lists are all made though.

    Lovely summer weather

    TOO HOT.

    =Miss Hoodies corner

I'm going to get to the sideboard drawers tomorrow. Junk throughout.

    =Money=

No car boots for me, thank you. I've just sold something for 35 though, which is nice.

I think as a treat I will have an ice cream sometime soon.

    Thank you for the challenge!

if anyone elses kids are like Miss Hoodie - shes into electricals -

Shes saving hard for an ipod (thou she doesn't know she has one for her bday!!), shes having a netbook. (comes off me, mum and dad)

What I've gone for for her friends and family grabbed a few ages from the xmas list

Baby 3mths - baby activity mat
girl - 4yrs - girlie backback and bubblebath
boy-5yrs - boys backpack and bubblebath
    boy - 11yrs - pjs
boy - 10yrs - ted baker toilettry set
boy - 15yrs - ted baker toiettry set
girls - 10/11yrs - doing them mix and match toilettry set
girls / boys 8+ scratch a foil kits

Generally- boys 11+ smellies, hair gel - there breaking into the "smellies" market, avoid any clothes unless you know their style

girls 11+ - toilettries, make up, even if nail polish, avoid kids ranges - maybe mix and match basket - include wipes, tissues, cotton wool, face mask - def avoid clothes - there too strong minded - I daren't even buy Miss Hoodie a pr of knickers without asking if she likes them!!

I did a car boot this morning (lucky as the venue had a majorette comp on) so had girls age 5-11 - sold some of Miss Hoodies stuff

Age 5/8 they were buying hair accessories, bands, (did a selection for 50p prepacked)
Age 8-11 - they were snapping up bangles (we'd paid 7 for £1 - Miss Hoodie wore them) sold them at 10 for 50p.
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx
