mmmm the rocky road looks yum .... I have such a sweet tooth :o

What's summer in winter chicken please?

My meal plan is very chicken heavy this week too - have taken the last whole chicken out the freezer (don't they take up a LOT of room!) so it'll be rubberised and will probably last me most of the week - lunches (soup) & dinners! :T

    Best of luck for tomorrow

Ohhhh that does look good & easy :) have saved it off into my recipes folder

I really should print some of these ones off and stick them in the meal planning section of my new binder - I have a list (of around 50 - I was really surprised!) "bog standard" meals to help with my meal planning but really want to try to add some new things

I've seen people doing 1 new meal a week & might give that a try!:)

Just heard from one of my best friends - her bf has left her today, completely out of the blue. they had built a life together, miles away from all of her family and friends, and now she has no idea what to do, can't afford to stay where they are, etc., she's heartbroken :(

Feeling a bit helpless as we live at the other end of the country from her, but it's still sad :( blah to other people.

Sorry - how rude of me to barge into your diary and not even say hello :o I was just taken by the gorgeousness of how the chicken looked and I got carried away!

I really like your idea about cooking one new thing every week, think I'm going to pinch that one too. I'm doing a Mary Berry lamb shank recipe today from her Sunday Lunches book so I'll take that as this week's job done and start thinking about something new for next week.

    Thanks AG :j

turns out we have a shared love for Negel Slater :D

And I'm intrigued by your peanut butter on porridge idea. I love all the component parts, but can't quite imagine them together. Will have to be brave and experiment
