Phew, Day One done! Training day, so lots of stuff to take in, and sort other stuff for when students get back tomorrow. Today has gone incredibly quickly! It's an 8-week half term though, so lots of things to fit in.

Had another NSD - lunch was provided at school today :) not planning on doing much this evening, going to watch the Great British Bake Off and have a relax :)

Another day done :) already got a to-do list which is half a page long! As is the way, I guess :) I'm beginning to feel a bit more "ready" for the start of term, even though it's started. By the weekend, it'll have become the norm.

Another NSD today - took a ham sandwich for lunch along with a peach and a yogurt. Tea was this: http://www.morrisons.co.uk/Food-and-Drink/Recipes/Index/P/Pea-potato-and-bacon-tortilla/ which was very yummy, and we had everything in for this, which is a bonus!

Mortgage wise, I'm hoping to do another £100 OP on Friday, as I'm hoping to squeeze my petrol til the weekend, and not spend on anything else. We shall see :)

    Yay it's the weekend :j :j :j

The weather has been awful today - proper torrential rain all day long - really good when you've got a morning duty outside.... I'm shattered, as the first week is always the hardest as you're getting used to the routine.

I managed to squeeze my petrol to getting home today :D it's on the red and the light is on, but I managed! So, I've OP'd £70 today. Woo! I'm very much looking forward to an evening of not doing much at all, snuggling up on the sofa and watching rubbish on tv :D

Oh, and NSD 5 for me today :)

    Urgh, I have a feeling I won't like Mondays :(:(

At least it's over for a week. I took soup and a yogurt for lunch today, so another NSD in the bag. I find it so much easier to have NSDs when I'm at work as I don't have any opportunity to spend!

Had spaghetti puttanesca for tea tonight - DH made it - which was yummy and it was nice to come in and not have to think about cooking! Again, another store cupboard meal so quick, cheap and easy. Had some ice cream for afters and now sat with a cuppa.

In not so good news, our toilet has broken :( it won't flush? DH has been watching some videos online to see if he can fix it first, if not then we'll have to call a plumber out, and goodness knows how much that will cost :( fingers crossed DH can fix it, though I'm not so sure....

Right, I'm going to have a relax and an early night I think :)

He spent 3 hours last night doing stuff, but it's still not right... sigh. Think it'll be a call to the plumber, which will be costly :(

Today has been better :) it's been very busy so it's gone fast, which is always good! We're off the DH's parents for tea, so I don't have to think about cooking now, which is also good :)

    Oh, it's also a NSD ;)

So DH has half fixed the toilet.... hmm. He says he's going to complete the job over the weekend, but I'm not convinced...

Small OP of £30 today, every little helps and all that! It's another NSD today, so number 10 for September.

We're having spinach and feta quiche for tea, just need DH so so I can eat! ;) I'm starving... :o

Another boring update from me, sorry :o
