    It's the weekend :j :j :j

I'm hoping to do a car boot sale on Sunday, although the weather forecast isn't great.... :( I've sorted some stuff out already, and I've got lots more to sort through tomorrow. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for alright-ish weather in Sunday, as we have a LOT of stuff to get rid of....!

My week has definitely got better as it's gone on, lessons/classes wise. My favourite day (not to jinx it) is going to be Thursday, I think :) My more challenging classes are on Monday and Tuesday, so at least they're out of the way early on in the week? Hmm..

    Right, relaxing evening ahead! :D

I've spent the morning doing some calculations, and if we continue OPing at the same rate, we'd be mortgage free in 9 years....! :j :j :j

Now, I know that things maywill change, and that continuing at the same rate we are now for that length of time will prove extremely challenging at times, but at the same time, the thought that I might be mortgage free at the age of 35 is very very exciting! And very motivating....

But, must remember to enjoy life at the same time... :o

Mortgage free by 35 would be absolutely wonderful - I'd settle for 40 :)

Has the weather forecast improved at all? Doom and gloom across the country according to Mrs E.

My aim is 40, so anything under that would be a massive bonus! :D

And the forecast, to be honest, is dire :( but, we've packed the car and if we get up in the morning and it's okay, we'll be off. If it's not, it'll be annoying, but I'll be staying in bed ;)

Had a lovely tea of pan fried sea bass (YS!) with some roasted new potatoes and asparagus. Lovely, simply, tasty food. Followed by a mini brownie warmed in the microwave, with strawberries and ice cream. Nom nom nom

If there's one thing you can rely on on the MFW board, it's reciprocal food envy :rotfl:

  • So, we arrived at the car boot sale at 7am and we were rained off at 9am :rotfl: and I made a grand total of....

    *drumroll*

    £23 :D :rotfl:

Mum made £30 so between us we hit the £50 mark, which, considering how poor the weather was and the fact that there was hardly anyone there, isn't too bad really! I guess it'll go towards petrol for this week :D

I'm now sat with a cuppa, watching the Great North Run on the tv, and trying to warm up a bit. We've packed up all of the stuff we didn't sell (which was most of it, to be honest :() and we're going to attempt another one next year when it's warmer! All of the stuff is going to go in mum's loft, and then we'll try again next year. Know what I hate about car boots though? The way people hoard around your car when you first arrive, looking for bargains, so you can't set up properly! :wall: it was mental when we first arrived, trying to set up with people going through your bags, looking in the boot of your car...! Ah well, can't complain... I guess.... :p

There's coq au vin bubbling away in the slow cooker, which already smells lovely, which we're going to have with mash and green beans for lunch. I'll drive home later on this afternoon. I may have to have a nap at some point... ;)

So, as it's payday today, I have OP'd £400 :D After transferring a few pennies to various places, our current account is looking pretty healthy. We haven't spent too much in September which is good :) we're going to a christening on Sunday and will need to buy a present for that at the weekend, but, apart from food and petrol, we're pretty much done for September.

Not to mention the dreaded C word, but I'll have to start thinking about what presents to get everyone, and starting budgeting and planning for that. Can't believe there's only 100 days til 2014

Nothing much else to report, plodding along :)
