Thursday, April 27th.
I feel like I should do some kind of update; it has been far too long.
It feels like things are slowly returning to some normality, whatever that means. I certainly don't want to jinx anything! But, things are slowly plodding along. DH is still poorly and is not back to his usual self, but we're working on it. The main problem at the moment is his back, which is then meaning he's hardly getting any sleep as he's so uncomfortableI wish I knew what to suggest to make it better, but I have no ideas.
Money wise, April has been a bit of a wipe out. We have had our bedroom decorated and we've been away on holiday. Both things were planned expenses and very much needed, but of course comes at an expense. Our house is beginning to look how I want it to look, and not what the previous owners had in taste. Our family holiday away - a self catering cottage in Scotland - was bliss and I was quite sad to leave and come home.
Blog wise, I don't have as much time or energy to commit to it as I'd like. My coaching program is almost ready but I keep giving myself excuses as to why I shouldn't go ahead with it. At the end of the day, I'm just scared it'll fail completely. But then I think about how I might help people get back on track, and it might go well. Who's to know? I'm very hesitant to press publish; who would ever pay me for my expertise? Ho hum.
So there we go, some kind of update. I am going to try and do this much more regularly; it does make me stay on track more when I keep a diary on here.Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

Nothing ventured, nothing gained, SF.
It's really sad to read posts from you that are quite negative.2018 totals:
Savings £11,200
Mortgage Overpayments £5,5000 -
May 3rd, 2017.
My posts seem quite negative at the moment because, to be honest, I'm struggling. I think the past couple of months have finally caught up with me. I have been off work today as I woke up with a raging temperate and felt really dizzy and sick. I spent the morning in bed as the in-laws came and got DS, but still feel quite ropey this evening.
I had HM chicken and tomato soup/broth for lunch in the hopes that it would be nourishing and comforting. It was, just the thing I needed. I'm now sat with a cuppa whilst DH tries to get DS to sleep.

Keep on keeping on SF :grouphug:.A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

May 4th, 2017.
I took DS to our local park this morning for an hour, just to have a change of scenery. I'm still not feeling that great but he needs the fresh air and to burn off some energy. It's definitely a work out though! An hour is definitely enough, for both of us. The rest of the day I have just relaxed and played with him at home.
Again, I had hm chicken and tomato soup for lunch, though that's all finished now. Had it with some cheese on toast on the side, lovely frugal meal. Again, I'm sat with a cuppa relaxing now.
