Thanks everyone
DS finally seems a bit more like himself today; the gorgeous, inquisitive, cheeky chap that he is. I so hope that this is all behind us now, as I'm struggling to relax and sleep has disappeared from my routine again.
Had a NSD today - I took left over hm roasted sweet potato soup for lunch which was very tasty. No spends planned until Thursday when I have an eye test as I haven't one in ages.
A silver lining to all of this recently is that I've lost 5lbs at slimming world this evening. I have then come home and had pizza for teaoops.
Very much taking each day as it comes at the moment. Here's to getting some sleep tonight and another day tomorrow.Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

beanie - indeed!
I am going to try and do a small update each day. It does keep me more focused and it makes me think of the positives, no matter how small they might be.
Another NSD for me; I took chicken salad for lunch with a yogurt and some fruit. I am trying to eat slightly more healthily. When I get stressed, I go one of two ways - I either eat everything I can, usually unhealthy, fatty, sugary foods. Or, I completely lose my appetite and struggle to eat at all. As of late, it has been tending to swing to losing my appetite and struggling to eat meals. Neither way particularly does me any good, so I'm focusing on trying to eat healthy meals that don't seem to challenging to prepare or eat.
Sold something on eBay for £2.49. Not a lot, I realise, especially after fees but it's something we no longer needed and off to a new home. If 10 things sell at that price, that's still £24.90 we didn't have before!

Plodding is good
Just to make you laugh :rotfl:
Just had a rather spectacular fall in our local M & S simply food.
Cue the floor and me being covered in fruity chichen curry.
The shame.

Really sorry to hear about all the health troubles.
I truly think you need to forget about the finances side of things at the moment and focus on (all of you) getting well.slowlyfading wrote: »I am going to try and do a small update each day. It does keep me more focused and it makes me think of the positives, no matter how small they might be.
I know that with the depth of the health troubles, it might seem like a ridiculous thing to do - its just when you mentioned posting, it rang a bell for me.
Beanie - hope you're not too sore (and your clothes aren't stained!) ...Save2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -

Absolutely! So sorry to hear of your troubles, SF.
I think this really helps. Another thing that helps me is doing the gratitude exercise each night - three things I'm grateful for? Even if its that "because I was working in the garden, the robin came down and started pecking near me", stuff like that.

It's halfway through the week.
Today, however, has not been a NSD. I left the house at 7:20am and got back at 8:10pm so I treated myself to a takeaway pizza for tea. Not particularly cheap or healthy
Not much else for today, I'm off to bed soon as I'm absolutely shattered.Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.
