August 11th, 2016.
I don't know if it's the aftermath of the weekend, the weather being generally rubbish or what, but I feel a bit meh at the moment.
DS is so lovely to be around; he's such a cheeky chappy and makes me smile. He is very good at walking with an aid, either me holding his hands or holding his walker, so I'm presuming it's only a matter of time before he takes his first steps unaided. How my boy is growing!
Had a bit of an admin day today, sorted about some things and did some behind-the-scenes-blogging stuff. We had homemade chili for tea with sweet potato wedges and I'm currently sipping on a mug of peppermint tea before I go to bed.
NSD too, to boot

The weather hasn't been great here but it's been nice to have a break from the hot weather, IMO.
Your son will be walking unaided in no time. It's such a milestone but within a few weeks you'll likely be tearing your hair out, I remember when my son started walking he seemed to be everywhere we didn't want him to be. :rotfl:
2018 totals:
Savings £11,200
Mortgage Overpayments £5,5000 -
Admin and behind the scenes bloggiting and sorting and slightly iffy weather, they're all leading to "meh" if you ask me.
Hopefully it all looks better tomorrow2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
I need to get back into setting smaller goals, daily lists and find some motivation from somewhere.
I feel a bit down today; I think it's because I'm aware that I only have two weeks left of holiday and then I'm back at work. I am absolutely loving being on holiday with DS, as it's like being back on maternity leave. I don't want to have to leave him againeven though he's fine with it!
So, my to do list for today:- Write a blog post
- Hoover living room
- Empty dishwasher and put cups in
- Tidy up kitchen
- NSD?
Right, plodding along as always!Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.
