    65 years is amazing. :)

Can't say I like the weather too hot either. These past few days have been rather unbearable.

What is even more amazing, is that DS slept from 9pm til 7:20am without waking :j :j :j :shocked::shocked::shocked: He's NEVER done that before, ever. Now, I didn't enjoy doing the controlled crying but I'm hoping that it means he'll learn to self settle quickly and, as he got more sleep last night, he's in a great mood today :T

My little GD needed rocking or a dummy to sleep up until about 7 months and was waking every hour to hour and a half during the night. In desperation my daughter and SIL did CC and she was sleeping through in 3 days. Same as you they went in to her every 3-4 minutes but she was usually asleep within 10 minutes. Now at 9 months she is great but an early waker. Sleep deprivation is awful and you need to do what is best for all of you. Glad your DS sleeping better now.

Another week over - where does the time go?

Can't believe what happened on Friday. Don't really have any words at the moment. Not liking the look of my shares at the moment either _pale_

    Positive things today:
    • No spend day :)
    • Transferred £11 into savings
    • Transferred £340 into my s&s isa.
    • Stuff sorted for the week ahead :)
    Happy Sunday, everyone!

Nope I am not a fan of the Brexit either :(. Strangely though my Vanguard LS fund looks very healthy due to the lower £. Don't ask me why but apparently it is down to currency exchange as the VGLS is bought in dollars.

DS is also an early waker now, guess you can't have everything :rotfl:

My Vanguard LS is also up, wish I owned more than 5 shares in it! :o

    Sunday, July 24th.

I feel so happy today, it's so strange. I feel really content at the moment and that life is good. I'm sure there'll be something to trip us up at some point, but I'm taking it for now. I suppose the knowledge that I'm off work for 6 weeks helps that ;) :rotfl:

The weather here has been miserable today but it doesn't particularly feel much cooler. We haven't done much today, just played with DS and had a lazy day. DS is getting more and more of a personality each day, he's so cheeky at times and his little grin when he is is so cute! He can walk fine using his walker now, it's just a case of waiting until he's confident enough to try without it. That's when the fun starts!

    Positives today:
    • NSD
    • Minted lamb burger, SW chips and salad for tea - yum!
    • Flowers to brighten up the living room
    • Family
Hope everyone has a great week :)

Glad to hear everything is going well. :) Any plans for summer with your son?

Rain here and quite a bit cooler, IMO.

Sounds great, SF - I realised the schools had broken up on Saturday, everything's different then, isn't it.

Babies in walkers are *so* cute - have a lovely summer with him.
