Definitely! The texture of grass or sand or earth between his toes will be a new, delightful experience for him
and maybe by the end of the summer a mock up of a paddling pool - something like a (new!) cat litter tray
to splash in, if you're more than 15 minutes from a gently sloping beach

Sunday, July 31st.
Gosh, the weeks sure do go fast when you're off work!
On Tuesday I was on BBC Tees radio and then on Friday I was speaking to BBC Scotland radio, so it's been an interesting week. All these opportunities my little blog is giving me! I also got to speak to Baroness Ros Altmann during the one on Friday, which was interestingI'll be famous soon
I took DS to a birthday party today at a soft play place in town. He absolutely loved it so I think I might take him more often to those kind of thingsI can factor it into the budget, so long as it's not every day... we've got DS a ball pool for his birthday present from us, so I think he'll like that.
Speaking of birthdays, how is my baby boy 1 a week today? It's been the fastest year so far, yet absolutely amazing. He's at such a lovely age too, fascinated by everything, laughing at daft things and a right cheeky chappy. He's got a great belly laugh once you get him going too
Positives today:- chasing DS round the soft play
- birthday cake
- family time
