Glad to hear things are getting better.
Can't quite believe you've not done this before, you really are an angel from above. :rotfl: Make sure you give your son boundaries early on (this early on is setting routines and not moving from them). Obviously if he's not very well, he's not very well but when he's OK he needs to know that he does not set the schedule. Hope this makes sense, it's late.2018 totals:
Savings £11,200
Mortgage Overpayments £5,5000 -
Saturday, July 9th.
DS slept through again last night - 8:15-6:40 without a peep! I'm not counting my chickens at all, but amazing. He as in such a good mood all day today, as he got a proper night's sleep as opposed to a broken night. It really is making a difference.
We've had a day in today as the weather here has been pretty yucky all day. Where is this summer? Although DS isn't bothered as he gets to cruise along the furniture all day :rotfl:
Positives for today:- NSD
- Big, toothy grins from DS all day
- Very yummy aubergine and courgette dhal for tea
- Finished first series of The Tunnel which I'm really enjoying

Tuesday, July 12th.
DS managed to go to sleep by himself tonight :j :j I popped him in his cot, shushed him for a minute and then left him to it. Twenty minutes later and he's fast asleep, and I didn't even have to go back in at all! Part of me wishes I'd done this sooner, but I didn't have it in me before now. However, I'm not sleeping well at all (typical!) so I'm absolutely shattered. Early night for me and counting down the days until the end of term.
Positive things today:- NSD
- Playing hide and seek with DS - I hide behind a chair in the living room and then he "finds" me. He finds it hilarious
- 4 working days til the summer :j
- Once confirmed tomorrow, I have something very exciting to share

Wednesday, July 13th.
Since this has been confirmed today, I can tell everyone - I'll be appearing on BBC Newcastle radio tomorrow morning! I'll be live between 10:10-10:40 talking about early retirement and saving moneyhow exciting is that?! Good exposure and a new experience to boot
I'm excited and nervous at the same time :rotfl: as it's live, I have to speak clearly and confidently, and not make mistakes!
DS slept through again last night - 8pm til 6am so if he manages it again tonight, it will be a whole week of him sleeping through the night. I can't actually believe it. Me and DH are more tired than ever though :rotfl: I guess it'll take more than a week to recover from 11 months of sleep deprivation...
Positive things today:- NSD
- Account tidy of £7.75 to savings
- Tomorrow...!
- Had a yummy smoked haddock kedgeree for tea
- Only 3 working days left :j
