Congratulations! So pleased that your little one is here. Sorry you had a rough time of it. I also had a bad time with my first who was also a BOY (23hr labour, forceps, ventouse, episiotomy...the works). I asked for a C-section with the second (GIRL) and got it (it was a breeze and I recovered a lot faster from the c-sec). My boy is now 11 and starts secondary school next month!
Hope you are doing ok. Enjoy motherhood (hard at times but lots and lots of rewards).Interest rate 1.25%, offset mortgage Woolwich0 -
Congratulations SF on the birth of your son.
I can't wait for my sister to have her first in December. It is also a boy.2025 Fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons

Thanks everyone - it's been a strange and tiring week with hardly any sleep due to DS being so clingy. The upshot of it all is that we're back in hospital today due to him losing 12.8% of his birth weight since last week. The cut off point is 12% so having tests done and checking all sorts.
Please send positive vibes this way; hopefully it'll be a straightforward solution but this mummy is a bit of an emotional wreck at the moment.Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

Lots of love and positive vibes to you ... it must be upsetting that he's lost weight, but there's a huge amount of input and experience they can give you. I'll be thinking of you both xxx2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Lovely to hear that the bump is now a babe, but sorry to hear you and he had a tough time with it
x Not worrying is easier said than done but please try and sleep/ rest as much as poss - if he's clingy try and lie near him, maybe? (I was a co-sleeper, but I know that's not everyone's thing!)

Lots of positive vibes coming your way
DD also passed the normal weight loss threshold by a small amount (a mild case of jaundice that cleared itself up very quickly). Scared the **** out of us all the same!0
