So, a NSD for us plus we're having chicken nuggets, potato croquettes and beans for tea; I'm craving comfort food at the moment and calories aren't to be worried about. Going to do a bit of blog stuff then watching great British bake off and one born every minute, then hopefully get some sleep.
Happy Wednesday everyone.
Ah, a plate of food, all coloured orange ...... you can't beat it for comfort food!
Will be watching Bake Off as well, one of my favourite programmes

From me too, SF, lots of good luck - as you say, you can look forward to welcoming bump sooner rather than later. Movement and a strong heartbeat sound great.2023: the year I get to buy a car0

So, bit of a long weekend. I wasn't allowed to leave the hospital on Thursday as bump hadn't grown and they were slightly worried about heart rate. After being monitored for 13 hours, they decided to induce me at 3am Friday morning. At just past 11am our beautiful boy (!) was born
weighing 6lb 14oz and absolutely perfect
the labor wasn't what I had hoped for at all; ended up having forceps and lots of extra medical staff intervention due to me and DS not coping - there was suddenly about 15 people in the room. I then had to be rushed to theatre due to massive blood loss and tearing, so DH did most of the skin-to-skin as I only had about a minute before being taken away.
However, he's here and that's the main thing. I feel very sore and struggling a bit due to low iron but it could be worseI'm just so happy he's here and that he's okay.
