Sorry you went through all of that, and the labour wasn't the way you wanted it, but as you say, he's here and healthy
My oldest nephew was a forceps delivery, and it honestly hasn't made a difference - he's an even higher-flyer than his non-forceps brothers.

Massive congratulations on the birth of your little boy! Sounds like you had a tough enough time, hope your healing well. I've been there and feel your pain. Rest as much as you can, I know everyone says it but lack of sleep mixed with low iron, crazy hormones and a new little bundle needing you constantly can take its toll so let everyone fuss around you and enjoy! Tea tree oil and a handful of salt in about an inch of hot water.
Helps those delicate areas heal nicely and takes the ache away (for a while at least)
