  • Hi SlowlyFading, sorry to hear it's been a tough time. As Greent says, get as much rest whilst you can. Once you have peace of mind, home and cuddles are in order.

Sorry to hear you things are tough. Sending love and hope all is well. x
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!
  • Congratulations on the birth of your baby! It must be a bit dispiriting that you are back in hospital for now but I'm sure it won't be for long, and he'll be crawling around in no time at all, you'll see.

A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

Massive congratulations to you and your little family SF :j:T

I'm sorry to hear you're still going through a worrying time but you're in the best place. I was born with forceps and then stayed in hospital for a couple of weeks as my weight dropped, but my mum still loves to tell the story 30 years later! :o

I hope everyone is looking after you both. We are all thinking of you and sending our best wishes for a speedy recovery :)

Congratulations SF. On the birth, definitely reach out for support when you're ready, I had a similar experience and it knocked me sideways once I was over the initial tiredness. Hope you're all home soon xx

Finally got a chance to update as DS is having a nap :)

We got to leave hospital on Thursday after being there for 5 days and being constantly monitored. DS was weighed yesterday and he has gained a bit of weight, so finally going in the right direction. It has been quite stressful and a worrying time, so hopefully it's all behind us now.

The only bonus to being in hospital is that our overall spending for August has been really low; I've not spent anything at all since DS was born and DH has only been to the supermarket twice for food supplies and that's about it. Oh, plus some more nappies! So, silver linings and all that :)

Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.
