Personally, I think it's worth transporting your family in comfort.
All of our cars have been fine for transporting our family in comfort - the only issues we've had are when we've had lots of small children requiring carseats before we had a seven seater. My Passat, Astra and Mondeo were all lovely - as is my Golf Plus.I am the master of my fate; I am the captain of my soulRepaid mtge early (orig 11/25) 01/09 £124616 01/11 £89873 01/13 £52546 01/15 £12133 07/15 £NILNet sales 2024: £200 -
Arrrgh :wall::wall::wall::wall:
We ordered a new cooker which was supposed to be delivered and installed this morning. Well, they got here at 8:30am with the new cooker, then took one look at our old one and said that they couldn't do it! The switch for the cooker is in the wrong place, and the junction box behind the cooker is the wrong type. Seriously, how many things are done on the cheap in our house?!
So now we have a brand new cooker just sat in the middle of the kitchen, we need to try and get a refund as we paid for installation and removal, and then we need to find someone else that will come and fit it for us, sooner rather than later.
Meh, happy MondayBe who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

Oh no, what a pain.
It's nice to buy new appliances, but there's always some sort of unwelcome complication:(Early retired - 18th December 2014

I can relate. Every home improvement job we consider takes double the sweat equity/money to contractors that it should because we bought from a bodger!
Try to remain stoical, it is a day off after all0 -
Oh Goddess

Must use my stash up!0 -

I weighed myself this morning and :eek: :eek: :eek: not doing that again for a while! I'm 22 weeks +4 today, and have gained 12 pounds so far. I should be aiming for between 22-25 pounds weight gain in total, so I'm hoping that it slows down a bit. I really need to make sure I'm eating plenty of healthy things too; think I'm going to try and cut out most of the treats I keep sneaking in. I don't know whether to start calorie counting? But, I tend to get a bit obsessive about it so I don't want that added stress... hm...
I'm going across to see my parents this afternoon - the weather is gorgeous again todayshould be a nice relaxing afternoon, hoping to spend it in the garden and have some down time
