BH. My dds would love the my little pony envelopes, lol!

I will be de richarding 3 pairs of youngests shoes/trainers tomorrow to a mum at the school with a younger dd, 2 of the 3 pairs of bright pink tights given to us by OH's mum can go there too (it's not like my lot are going to wear them often enough that they need a pair each)

We went to try to get some new 'ugg style' boots for middle and youngest this evening from Sains (as they do ones with proper soles, like next also do but they are cheaper in sains) they didn't have youngests size but got middle hers and I made her take off the old, holes-in-the-bottom ones in the shopping centre and put them in the bin. OH said 'you could have taken them home and put them in the cash for clothes bag'. He is DEF worse than me at hanging onto things Although I'm worse at buying :)

:) I just found this short but wonderful uplifting video which is 3 days of cleaning, decluttering and rearranging time-lapsed into 90 seconds. It really made me smile in hope:

I want some My Little Pony envelopes! :)

Tonight. I'm in from work and not yet sat down with my cuppa, finished prepping dinner, mended a sheet which had a huge rip down and I had filed it away but then couldn't find the other clean sheet (we have 3 sets because I decluttered the airing cupboard 5 years ago, one set on, one in the wash and one waiting to go on) so had to sit and sew this poxy sheet.

No matching thread. Was tempted to use iron on hemming tape and sort of pull it across but decided that was too close to being a lazy little madam as my grandma would have said while slapping the back of my leg. Amazing the influence she has, and she's been gone this last 17 years (today :( )

So I hand sewed it. I hand sew like a pig wearing boxing gloves. I then realised I had sewed it on the "right" side so it's now on the bed upside down so the mend looks ok :o

OH is hovering with the air of "I've something to tell you" and eventually he tells me he rescued a wooden box from outside the factory over the back. It only needs drying out, cleaning, staining, varnishing and then some hinges putting on and it's going to be a great coffee table with storage.

I'm less than happy, feel so tired, and so after dinner I go for a long bath. And then find the other bloody sheet among the towels in the airing cupboard so I didn't even need to have sewn the sheet up in the first place.

As a result, I am now decluttering a carton of wine which fell into my hand after my bath :D Hopefully be less tired tomorrow.

I really, really like the Life Rewards Action quote, which I haven't heard before.

So much so, that I dragged DH into the bedroom....to go through DD's clothes as he had said he would do.

This worked rather too well. Huge pile to go now and another nearly-outgrown pile to go as soon as replacements are sourced.

I looked online and have spent a fortune. Yes, a fortune. I was managing money really well this month until this point. So, rather than send it back, I will try and get DH to put down for an extra shift at work. Hmm, he won't be thrilled about that so I may have to wait until the clothes arrive. I did get most of it half price, and I hope it's as great as it looks.

    I've been Money Tipped!
I'll try and post a bracelet pic tomorrow. I have had to come home earlier than planned, but feel too whacked to sort it now, :(. Thanks. It was surprisingly upseting.
  • At this rate I should just eBy the envelopes!

I didn't realise there was "a time lapse room cleaning genre". That was fun to watch.

Rootling around youtube let me to this

I have everything. Everything I could need and everything I could want. A house with a front and back garden, family car, 3 lovely (if trying at times) kids, a loving OH. I don't want for anything yet I buy and buy and buy. More and more stuff till I'm out of cash time and time again. I'm an intelligent being why can't I be sensible with money?

Sounds like a plan. After all, there's bound to be somebody who has a niece/granddaughter or something that would like them to write letters.
