Rarrrr! I have the rage this afternoon. I sold a kids coat on ebay for £1.04 and posted it this week. The buyer messaged me yesterday to say she hadn't received it, and today I open messages to a flipping CASE opened against me. I emailed her back saying im terribly sorry your £1.04 purchase was yet to arrive, please be patient and id appreciate you CLOSING the case as quickly as you opened it when your £1.04 item does show up. As my Grandad used to say sarcasm is the lowest form of wit but COME ON!!

I'm feeling a little guilty now as I opened a case on ebay today! :o Item cost £10 total.....posted on 12th so I presume its lost in post. But the seller seems to be expecting me (the buyer) to claim from royal mail. :(

  • Oh dear, need to get some serious hugs and tea and cakes on the go for you all. Come round the back of the sofa and chew a power cable, it always seemed to cheers the peeegz up no end.

Inspired to dispose of a blouse, which is starting to be too tight, and has the seams for the darts on the front placed in such a way that it looks as if I am permanently cold! Not good!

When I had to rabbit proof the lounge we threaded all the cables through plastic tubes to protect them. Our current bunny doesnt like the lounge though - he prefers to chill on the landing upstairs.

Hugz all round! Everyone seems to be chasing their own tails!

Pudsey, it's not your responsibility to claim from RM. Seller should refund you then pursue their claim with RM themselves. Hope it works out ok.

Idris, Some buyers are never happy, are they! Glad that sending that message made you feel better x

Manic here too, have forced myself to relax tonight and go out for a few drinks with friends from work (some have already finished/,moved on to other jobs in the same company and most are still there waiting for the powers that be to finally announce when we're finishing - morale? Have to dig deep for that. It's been over 3 months and we still are none the wiser) I'm turning it over in my head whether to apply for a job I know about with the same company but customer facing rather than back office. Undecided. :o

I am now going to declutter a hair dye and some nail polish for tonight!

Well motivation is great when it happens, it seems if I get something new (to me) I can gee myself up somewhat. Was amazingly lucky when DD and I popped into the recycling shop on tuesday and I got a Pana$onic BM for £10, mucky as anything on the outside, but inside fine and had all parts. Then I spotted a freezer which turned out to be only 4-5 months old, still had shop stickers on, and I knew I couldn't walk away, so got that too for an amazing price. I'm usually not so lucky and it was pure chance I looked.

Put my very old freezer on Freecyc£e where I got it from over a year ago, and had someone collect it today, so very happy!

Moved a cupboard where the old freezer was, and now using it for the cat's food and dishes. Sorted out an area for pusscat to eat and drink, and will put a few kitchen items on FB to sell.

Ginger, so sorry about your job, I worked as a records clerk back in the 70's in a hospital and I never hated a job so much. I was the tender age of 17 and was sent unaccompanied and without support to the post mortem room one day,:eek::eek:

    OMG...

Hugs to everyone having a tough time.

I've had a couple of small kid splash suits sitting in my kitchen for the last week. They are quite old and each had marks which didn't want to come out. I finally gave up thinking that I would " sometime" get them fleabayable & they went in the local air ambulance box. At least they are gone.

Thats what I thought, but I wan't sure, so thanks for replying. Still not heard back from them so I'm feeling far less guilty about opening a case now.

I decluttered a hair dye today too :)

Also emptied a big box full of stuff that I'd forgotten what was in it. Turned out to be a load of things packed away in 2005!! :o A big pile of magazines is now in the recycle bin along with 2 kids bibles that had seen better days.

I've also decluttered the spare coat hangers - getting rid of all the ones I dont like, too small, or broken. I'll be able to find the ones I want easier now. :T

Had a long work day yesterday but a couple of very grateful customers made my day with their kind comments.

I'm grateful for the reminder about OC cleaners. I watched episode 3 last night on the laptop - I'd forgotten it was on. I did dream about mould afterwards though. I would love an oc cleaner to go through my house.

I am looking at a beautiful bunch of roses that have lasted over a week. Such a joy to have fresh flowers in the house, I must do that more often. Perhaps we should make it a family tradition that we have flowers on any birthday/ special day regardless of whether the celebratory person is male or female.

DH is at home this weekend so I hope we'll be able to do some reorganising; decluttering may be too optimistic.
:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.

had semi argument with mother as she thought it was HILARIOUS that Id hired a de clutterer. If only she knew the reasons behind my decluttering *zips lip as shes a member here*
Well I think it's a brilliant idea - I employed a professional declutterer 3 years ago and it was superb. As a result, I sold enough on ebay that paid for 3/4 of the declutters fees anyway and I would never have pushed myself to do that if I hadn't hired her. She was friendly and non judgemental and enabled me to sort my overwhelming attic, and it really was life changing (short hand version - created acres of visable space for OH to see there was room for his stuff and therefore him... and we are now married:D)
It also was the start of me working on my own with my stuff in the rest of the house ever since. I have learnt so much from my own experience that in the last year I have been helping family and friends declutter and they all tell me I'm really good and it and should start my own decluttering business and I am now doing that...definitely found my calling.

We pay for help for all sorts of things to help us in life, why not something like this, which can improve your life so much. Of course it isn't the right thing for everyone, but I say well done for being proactive and doing what is right for you and freeing you up to get on with the life you want and love, which is childminding.
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once
