    Managed £10 today.

Jaxsmar - that is awful. Words don't seem enough but being there for her through this horrible time and not avoiding her (unfortunately when a friend from school was killed in an accident some people avoided his mother as they didn't know what to say/want to confront the fact that terrible things happen...) or the situation is the best thing you can do. Take care of yourself and as best you can her. *hugs*
    [STRIKE]Credit Card 17.9% = £460 paid off 2013[/STRIKE]!
    £1000 overdraft 0% = 0/£1000
Owe parents for car = £410/£2950
    Owe SAAS £240/£548
    BF Lend £0/£200

And I'm still pretending my student loan doesn't exist until I earn enough that they ask for it! :p

Jaxsmar, I'm very sorry things are still quite rubbish. I've had a suicide in my close circle of friends and it was very hard to deal with. Be good to yourself.

£2.50 last week. Off on hols later this week (Work are sending me to Athens, I'm staying on in Greece a few days for some sunshine - feeling very lucky!), so all money is floating towards sunscreen and emergency bikini buying. Very frivolous!

Have paid another £50 today off Barclaycard. Haven't been much in the mood for money matters since Easter as OH was suddenly taken ill over Easter, taken in hospital, diagnosed with lymphoma in the brain and is currently in intensive care after biopsy made his tumour bleed. (If any of you read my DF diary you will have followed the story.) As he is finally making some progress (touch wood) I thought it was time to sort a few things out financially. Might not be able to afford a lot of extra repayments on just my salary but still need to make an effort. And by "doing" I am keeping going and not falling apart.
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)

  • Sorry to hear that Sun Addict. I've left a wee message on your diary as I've been/am going through something similar with my DH after his head injury.
