Goodness, what horrible times for you both, Sun Addict and Jaxsmar. Big hugs.
Well, I'm back from Greece, which was lovely and warm. I still feeling a bit too lucky that I was asked to work there, but I did appreciate the extra days to recover! We had 15+ hour days and I'm usually very lazy.
I had a budget of £400 for the week including accommodation, travel across Greece, good food and presents for the office and friends. I've just totted up what I have left....
Brace yourselves...
...7p.
At least I underspent, eh?! :rotfl:0 -
Ooh, scrap that! I forgot I brought back 25 euros.
They'll be this weeks payment once I get down to the post office!

Just cottoned onto this thread, altho not in my signature (i really should get one up and running so i can see the progress) I over pay £14 a week toward any given debt and when i clear a debt i up that amount by a £1 a day to hit the next debt.
So far its working well as i have set up a standing order to pay it off automatically and i dont have to think about it!!0 -
I've scraped together £10 for my extra payment this week. This brings the total of the card I'm trying to pay off to a nice neat £1600. Thanks for all your well wishes re my OH. He's out of intensive care now and on high dependency ward - doing ok considering and may be starting chemo in the next week or so.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

Thanks guys, I'm still in holiday mode which is very unproductive for careful spending.
I'm not sure work are going to let it happen again any time soon, sigh! Next week they're hoping to hire someone dedicated to working overseas. Amazing whilst it lasted though :-)
Great work in the over pays guys, and welcome Shredder!0
