Hi Betty - can I join in this challenge please? I plan to send an extra payment every week to my Barclaycard as the 0% finishes at the end of August and there is no way I want to have to shuffle it to another one. There was £1800 on it but this week I have paid £30 off it - which was the £30 I got from Money Supermarket for switching my gas and electricity!I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

I'm back on here at last after the extra payments taking a back seat since Jan.
Extra payments this week were £10 and £20 to 2 CC's.
Other good news was being offered at long last a 0% rate to shuffle the balance onto that and be able to close one card account down - yeah! Now down to 3 cards and 2 on 0% rates for a while so hopefully the balance will continue to drop down further and I will plan some more extra weekly payments per card to help the amounts come down some more.final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -

I've been pretty rubbish logging any weekly over payments but I know that I missed my £125 target by a massive margin
£25.38/£125
Target for march is £100 plus to make an extra payment each week (am diarising - is that a real word)
Ok I have actually managed an extra payment each week courtesy of eBay
Wk1 ending 3rd. eBay. £0.64
Wk2 ending 10th. eBay. £32.15
Wk3 ending 17th. eBay. £2.27
Total £35.060 -
Oh dear wheels are moving slow. Been nosying on the hoarders thread I can believe how that all interacts with debt... well it does with me. Not doing any embarassed logos in this message..ebay is helping me out get back on the wagon and also doing some overtime... along with a supportive hubby and on a new eating lifestyle.. skinny man is fat on the inside (official - as just had a femural stent fitted) and me fat on the outside.
We really are at the bottom at the mo. Well there is only one way to go and that is up!!:jNeed to make a plan to help stay focussed and record the journey.
So been shuffling around the bank accounts and tidying them up.
Thats 22.50 today to Richard c.:)
Next week is pay day with some overtime on it so will be shuffling more again. Lost track of all at the moment but I promise I will try harder.
Keep up the good work peeps.

£27.00 for me this week courtesy of OH's annual van insurance policy being £27 cheaper than last year's. I had already put last year's amount to one side so the surplus has gone to the overpayment!I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

I got an unexpected tax rebate which I've used to pay off some debt. I'm not counting it as my PAW since it was a one off bit of good luck rather than anything I've done. However, I did round it up to a nice even number
so this weeks overpayment is £4.65.

Please can I join this challenge? I seem to be quite obsessed with debt repayments at the moment so doing this weekly will keep my motivation going.
I currently round up my CC monthly payment to £40 anyway so not going to count that. I would like to pay £130 on CC1 a month and £80 on CC2/OD a month. This would mean paying them both off in 12 months.
Hopefully I will be able to make some overpayments at the end of the week after our holiday so will update then.
