Ok, I just emptied my box so I can get more messages.

Our missing case has been located. It will be on a flight from LHR to MAN tonight at 9 pm.

Estimated arrival at the house? Tuesday.

Over 60 hours to travel 100 miles? I could walk it faster.

:( Aww bu gger, sorry its not been great journeying back.

I'm really interested to hear about the Tuscany too, as we're looking for accommodations for us all in June next year. There'll be 5 of us.

Tricker, I'll do a review when I get my brain back in one piece. We really like it there. Very quite, but within a couple of minutes walk to centre strip. Pool area is nice, gym and exercise pool are great for the SO, decent cafe, pleasant staff. Review to come.

I once missed a connection at Newark ...ended up overnighting and then went standby on Virgin (original flight was CO but airport staff couldn't get their heads around the fact the VS flight 12 hours earlier than the CO was a codeshare so had to call CO CS to get them to transfer me 12 hours at Newark was more than enough) took 2 days for them to locate my bags- another 24 hours to put it on the wrong flight (went to Paris) and finally arrived in the middle of a snow storm....... if only bags got miles LOL

glad you are finally home, pebbles, and sorry it was such a painful journey back...sounds pretty dreadful.
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

Just seen that Elton johns million dollar piano is playing when we're in vegas (end of march/beg April).
It's tickets starting at $55 and up to $500!
So has anyone seen is show and would be kind enough to share your thoughts?
Also keen to hear anybody else's thoughts on seating at the Colliseum.

    Thanks in advance

Elton's show is great. We usually get the second cheapest seats and they are fine.
Disclaimer: we are cheap but we see a lot of shows.

We have seen Elton twice at the Colosseum and thought it was a great show. We had great seats in the Front Orchestra at the side the second time. We were going to book again last year, but they had changed the pricing for those seats which were much more expensive.

We saw Celine Dion from the 2nd mezzanine and although that was much further from the stage, we still enjoyed the show.
