They kept stringing the staff along for a month. Only told them Friday when they had to go in to give up their security passes. Not nice and not good employee relations.0

That's a shame about the Sirens show. We weren't very interested in it, but it seemed to be popular - there were always people waiting to see it. Bit of a shame because surely they do some business from it in the bars that are so near the front of the hotel.
Any idea what they are using the space for? Will it be retail, or more bars?0 -
they're building a shopping centre out front but last I read the Siren's Cove was staying but may be smaller.

he's more often on football focus these days
I've actually seen Garth Brooks live and he was carp - admittedly this was a baseball game mind and not a concert.
He turned out for San Diego Padres against the Milwaukee Brewers during spring training in 1999 whilst I was in Arizona.
As for singing he was on at Encore, not sure if he still is.0 -

I've seen him twice - once in a huge arena (about 1997/98 or so I guess) and once at Encore and he was great both times...but the Encore show made me cry - it was just so crazy to be in such a tiny venue and it was just such a different sort of show, just him and a guitar singing a lot of songs that meant something to him throughout his life (not just his own stuff) and his voice was amazing. If tickets hadn't gone up so much in the last year he was at Encore we would have gone again without question. It was my favourite show I have ever seen in Vegas...but obviously individual opinions will vary.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0
