  • I too would appreciate a myVEGAS guide.

Having just recently booked to go to Vegas in May, I joined Facebook on Thursday and started playing the game. Just been messing about at the minute and having fun with the free chips.

Today I have had a few good wins and I am now on level 35; 521,487 chips; and 11,025 coins. Should I just play max bet on any game, and just hope for the best regarding the coins increasing?
IMO yes - having chips means nothing - as I understand it you can only exchange coins for benefits.
I have been paying for about 6 weeks normally end up with nearly no chips and 29000 coins so far. A couple of buffets not far away LOL:T

I thought those in the know suggested playing low stakes until all your hotels are built.

I am shocked at how much some things have gone up lately...2x Aria dinner buffet cost me 75,000 coins...now 186,000..though I suppose that 1x Aria dinner buffet is only 39,000 with the limit of 3 per person that reduces the potential rewards quite a bit...$50 MC dining credit was 35,000...now 62,500...and I know that things had already gone up quite a lot when I started paying attention.
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

I guess it was inevitable as the game got really popular they ramped up the prices.

Still can't complain about a free online game that gives you real-world freebies! Combining both MyVegas and Social Rewards gives quite a fair wedge of Vegas freebies :j

If you google MyVegas guides, there's quite a number of strategies which tell you the best way to play the game and gather rewards.

Plus any of the MyVegas groups tend to have their own strategy guides and tips. This is especially useful when working out the best way to maximise your reward value and preference.

  • Thanks for the information on MyVegas. I will have a read in a bit.

I stayed late at work last night, just sat waiting for a delivery driver who was running late. Bored I started to bet 6k a spin, and 45 minutes later I had 7 chips. Finished on 14,900 coins and level 45.
  • Ugh jetlag. It's 4:25am! I usually at least make to 5am on my first morning. Had the longest flight in the world. All down to headwind. Also the hottest flight. Wasn't fun at all. Then had a grilling at immigration. Asked a million questions made me feel very uneasy and still fretting about it now. Probably down to the fact I am travelling alone on this trip. The bloke was also the slowest officer working yesterday asked everyone lots of questions. I've always wondered if they make a note of what you are saying on the computer for future reference. Intrigues me, they never seem to type anything just take your picture and finger prints.

Anyway the reason I came on here was to say I will be staying at Monte Carlo next week booked 3 nights using MyVegas. I will report back on how 3 seperate reward bookings work together. Will I need to check in and out every day. That sort of thing.

we linked together room bookings for 4 nights at Aria from 2 different accounts - no bother at all. Simply asked the person at MyVegas rewards details of the bookings.

Not sure about MC but for Aria and rooms (and same principle ofr a lot of the rewards), there is a limit to the number of each reward you can have. so at the time you could have 1 of each of 4 room awards

    1 sun - thur night
    1 Fri-sat night
    1 sun-thur bonus date night
    1 Fri-Sat bonus date night

So it needed a bit of fiddling to get the right nights booked -with the various bonus dates i think we linked together

night 1 me - ordinary bonus midweek
    Night 2 2nd account - bonus midweek
Night 3 2nd account ord midweek
    Night 4 me bonus weekend

Wow, what sort of questions were they asking?
  • If I was employed. Why was I travelling alone. Have I ever looked for employment in America. How do I know the friend I am visiting for his Birthday. Do I intend to stay beyond my return flight. Have I ever stayed longer than intended. How many times have I visited the US. Then at the end he asked again why I was travelling alone. While he was asking all these questions he was doing the regular finger prints and picture. He kept asking questions even after he stamped my passport. He seemed to do this with everyone though. Maybe he was just being thorough. All the other officers just seemed to do the quick why are you here and for how long questioning. It has worried me a bit though. Everyone on here seems to go twice year without a problem. I'm a thirty something female maybe that's an odd thing to see? I don't know.

I travel to Vegas several times a year on my own and normally get a long list of questions, why am I here, where am I staying, how long for, where do I work, how much do I earn, how much do I spend on travelling etc
