    Anyone know how much for taxi to palms from mgm? Also how much wine is a bottle in Alize?

    A taxi from the Aria a couple of years ago was just over $10 + tip so I would reckon $12-15.

    A bottle of wine starts at $80-90 for the cheapest stuff up to any price you care to name. I think we saw one at $500.

    We has a 7 course tasting menu one time and the wine pairings was $55 per person.

    If that's the 1 opposite the Aria on the corner by Planet Hollywood, give it a miss just been there this morning for a breakfast, disgusting, dirty cups, very poor value in my opinion.

    Yes that's the one. We have been a few times for dinner with no problems so will take note in case it has gone downhill.

    MIX at Mandaly Bay

    Is there a dress code, I am normally in shorts and fitflops, should I put shoes and trousers on?

    I'm pretty sure there is a dress code of sorts for dinner as it's a fairly swanky place. That said, I'm sure there was someone dressed very casually when we were there and I was quite surprised as it's not a casual restaurant. It may have been because they weren't very busy that night.

    I wasn't that impressed with Mix. The food was OK and the restaurant is lovely with a great view, but there was nothing that would make me want to go back.

    woops - good point Luci! I was referencing the bar, not the restaurant! Ignore my comments if you're going for scran photome, I've never eaten there!!!

    I only want to go to the MIX lounge for a drink and the view, (is the restaurant the same place) before going downstairs to the Burger bar for a burger and milkshake.

    I wonder if this trip we might just manage to see anything green on our plates during our whole stay.
    The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    I love this because this would absolutely be our plan too.
    Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?
