Happy Easter All :easter_ba
A friend of mine is going ot Vegas for three nights in August (it's her first visit) and she'd really like to see Shania Twain. We're not 'show' people so I haven't really got any good advice for her regarding where and when to get the best value tickets - can anyone help? I'm thinking that even if Tix 4 Tonight have tickets, the time spent queuing might be a bit much given the limited time she has available?
P.S. I know that tickets are currently only on sale up to 1 June, I assume further dates will open up as we get closer?
On another note - I second the MyVegas Friends group recommendation, they're generally a lovely, helpful bunch of people. I redeemed my first reward yesterday - two buffets at Bellagio for 21,500 Loyalty PointsWe're not going for a while (within 90 days though!) but they go like hot cakes when the rewards are reloaded at around 3pm B.S.T every day - something for your son and his mates to consider Dollywops. They'll have to go some if they've only got four weeks but that should be enough time to get themselves a couple of freebies

Shania is in rotation with the other headliners at The Colosseum ...looking at the schedules for the others for August, I am not sure Shania will have any shows in August.
Rod Stewart - August 3, 4
Celine Dion - 8/06/13 - 9/01/13 Tue-Wed, Fri-Sun
And happy Easter to you, too.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -

I wanted to go see Shania but it was sold out before we left.
There were no reduced price tickets we looked.
I don't know whether Shania is playing in August, but if it was me I would book before going.
Maybe the demand will ease off by then, but I wouldn't like to risk missing out.
Her tribute artist is supposed to be really good too, Shania Twin.0 -
Thanks both, I'll pass your advice/info on"Don't sacrifice what you want most for what you want now"

My trip in three weeks has hit a speed bump. Flybe called me yesterday to say the flight I had already booked and paid for from Glasgow to Manchester was now cancelled and there are no other options that day, all they could offer me was a refund. Luckily, this flight was due on April 20th and I don't fly to Vegas till the 21st but I will now have to get a bus or train to Manchester and cancel the plans I had as it wil be much later in the day I arrive. I may also have to change my hotel for the night in Glasgow from the one near the airport to a more central location. Do I have a case for getting compensation due to the inconvience they are causing me?0

Me again - I'm full of questions today!
When we go to Vegas in a few months, my brother and sister-in-law are coming too - it's their first time there. They both turn 30 before we go and are both foodies so I was wondering about booking them a nice meal while we're there as their present (or buying a gift voucher that they could use). I looked at the tasting menu at GR Steak but it's $290 which is a bit more than I'd like to spend - not being tight but don't want to end up with them feeling like they have to spend loads on us next time - present tit-for-tat can be dangerous haha! Does anyone have any suggestions for somewhere that would cost maybe £60-£70 per person tops?
Or any alternative suggestions are welcome for something couply that doesn't involve food....or smut, as that would be hideously inappropriate!! Thanks xx"Don't sacrifice what you want most for what you want now"

Or how about Virgin Glasgow to Heathrow and then Virgin Heathrow to Manchester?illegitimi non carborundum0 -

Hi, would they like a nice brunch/buffet? The sterling brunch is supposed to be nice. Or perhaps the Bellagio buffet?:A Your Always in my heart, you never ever will be forgotten-9/9/14:heart2:0 -
