Also, 24 hours from now our plane should be landing in Vegas. It has not yet fully sunk in...but I do think that Virgin's twilight check-in is the best idea ever...more airlines should offer something similar.

Even better -do twilight check in -go out to dinner in one of the local towns -back to the airport- stay at Yotel (yards from VS check in desks) --get up grab coffee from Costa and drink it in your "cabin" whilst watching Sky TV and posting on here what you're doing from their free wi-fi then stroll through security. Effortless

Really annoying that I no longer get their promotional emails - R.com are on my safe senders list. I even had a webchat with them yesterday to try and sort it out. I like my food... Especially discounted!!

Just got a $25 certificate for Ocean One Bar & Grille for $4 No knowledge of the place whatsoever but it gets ok reviews and, at $4, thought it was worth a go. It's $50 min spend but there will be four of us so should be ok!

Looks like ferf will be getting good weather while in Vegas...mainly in the 80s for the next week or so.Close to record highs.
Bit jealous to be honest,the weather was fine for the 8 days we just had in Vegas,but the cold wind meant a fleece was needed on quite a few occasions,and my beer didn't taste quite as good as usual in the evenings when we went down Fremont street.....I want to go back again already :sad::sad:
