1 UU S&G scrub em and leave em 50ml. WNBA, bored with S&G and not really a fan of scrubs in general. Replaced with an ancient Elle MacPherson one.
3 GAs S&G Daily Smooth Body Butter 50ml, another 50ml Scrub em and Leave em 50ml and Clean Girls Body Wash 75ml. Last minute birthday present and the friend I gave them too said she loves S & G, usually gets some for Xmas but didn't this year, so hopefully she was happy with it.
I've bought a deep conditioning treatment for my hair but can't remember what it is and haven't used it yet. Think it is Tresemme. It's just a one use sachet as my hair has gone a bit dry and frizzy, which is unusual. I've also finished my cheapy Tesco wipes and will be replacing.
I've also given 2 gift sets this week from my Boots sale stash. I've got loads more but am intending to return the Walter and Betty items as I don't think they'll smell very nice - Pink Pepper and Fig. A couple of people on the Boots sale thread said they loved the fragrance and a couple hated it. I wouldn't give anyone Marmite so I don't think I should be giving this to anyone either! Can't really be sure what the fragrance is like without opening something properly and not a good idea if I am likely to want to return it or keep it in the stash for a while.3 stone down, 3 more to go0 -
Hope everyone is feeling ok. Roguelawyer hope you have had a better day today.
Thank you! My family problems have receded (my mother has disowned me, but As she was screaming abuse at me before I can't feel too upset!)
Yesterday was actually a positive 'it's a day'. We're in a very busy period at work, a lot happening including lots of court work, so whilst the days are long (very long!) it's very satisfying! There's nothing better IMO that sitting down and thinking 'today, it had my all'.
Just about to slip in to a hot bath, humans are not built for sitting at desks all day...0 -
Hi all......I've been following thread for a few weeks now and when I first stumbled across it by mistake I was thinking WOW!!! its not just me!!!:-)
I dont really buy any expensive cosmetics or toiletries its been a matter of bargain hunting/boots 75% sale/lush 50% sale and everyone knowing how much i love smellies and getting gift sets of varying discriptions for the birthdays and Christmas ......but I am a classic 'save it for a pampering day' kind of person:-)
So a year ago I sorted everything out (mainly as i was running out of space!) and thought I need to start using this stuff!!......had so many travel sized products that i was saving for holidays lol....(would last a life time)....felt very good as I got into the habit of moisterising everyday.....(oh the body butter collection was crazy!!) and was happy re-organising my products every now and then:-)....so......
Its a year later and I still havnt started on the products I got for Xmas 2011 or my goodies that I kept from the january sales of 2012!! and thats when I realised how long it will take!! (I need the space!!) although I love these products i want to get down to just having one of each and then treat myself to a few things at sale time.......so......
I have made a list (inspired by you guys).....dont have the energy to type it here but will keep you posted as I use stuff up. I didnt list stuff I'm already using but guess these will be first. I was very proud that although I went to the boots sale I only bought presents and have allocated them already, so nothing there for me:-(
I also would like to eventually only use products that are vegan, but that will be another year I guess.
Thank you for listening to me waffle on:-) and please excuse the spelling:-)0 -

Now candles...well, I never save any for decoration purposes only, no matter how fancy it is. I just love burning candles:)
Looking for a bit of advice, - we're running low on handwash both in the kitchen and bathroom. Could I use shower gel/bubble bath in the dispensers instead? Would I need to dilute them, esp bubble bath, so they're not as harsh or are liquid soap, shower gel and bubble bath all essentially the same thing in different bottles? I was wondering whether using bubble bath in particular might be too harsh to use directly onto hands.
I know it sounds a stooopid question to ask as you use shower gel direct to skin but when I cook I'm forever washing my hands, didn't know whether using 4 or 5 times in quick succession might not be so good for skin.
Enough of my rabbitting, I feel silly now
Hi, I love candles as well especially Yankee Candles. Have just lit my last Christmas large jar which should take me into next month. Still have some wax tarts and votives left over from Christmas as well.
But I digress. I'd say give it a go of putting shower gels into your dispenser. Can't see it being a problem especially as I know the L'occitane liquid soap is also marketed as a shower gel so why not?Lots of IN's today (9 in total) my LIB Editors box, although I have resisted the latest one. Sounds like a lovely haul maddiemay. Please let me know what the MD Perricone product is like. I hope everything is still going well for your brother. Take care.rogueylawyer wrote: »Thank you! I like days like that. I've had a pretty bad week at work with a co-worker shunning me because she is losing her job. Not a great atmosphere especially when there are only 6 of us working there. Never mind, it's Friday. 2 completions today, maybe 3 so not as busy as usual for a Friday.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Welcome aboard. Sounds like you will be at home here with us. This is the reason I joined too knowing that I had items that had been sitting there since Christmases past.
Forgot to mention in my last post another UU. As predicted I used the last of the Cutex nail polish remover last night. Had already bought a replacement as it's my HG. I had already opened the new bottle as well as I managed to "lose" the one that was spluttering but then found it again so all is well in my World. :rotfl: Am now wearing OPI Skyfall.
Did have a little wander out to Sallys yesterday to see if the Mariah Careys were in. Will be there on 1 Feb. Both assistants said something that suggested they now knew me which perhaps is not such a good thing!
Take care everyone x.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

up early ready to take man to my bed (room) sadly only the insurance man:(0
-
Tokkiandoliver - will look forward to trying the Bioeffect serum.
Roguey - Comiseration for all your upset. Families!!!
Rosemary - Thanks for the giggle about the insurance man - at least 1 step nearer being back in your own bedroom.
ValM - I will be trying the No Foundation Foundation very soon so will let you know.
Val, Roguey and all of you who have been supporting me through this hellish time - visited my brother on Wednesday and found him bright and breezy, when he went into hospital he weighed just over 15.1/2 stone (6ft and solid muscle), earlier this week he weighed in at 11st 4lbs, but he is being well fed (very good food there), he had needed hoist to get out of bed, his legs would not support him, but he had managed, with help, to slide off edge of bed onto his feet, manage a tiny shuffle and flop heavily into chair, he was so chuffed, last night he texted me to say he had been a little walk along corridor with aid of a frame, today he is expecting to try to walk with just a physio each side of him. I think he will come on in leaps and bounds now.
The plan is to get him strong enough for discharge, send him home to get stronger and then in approx 3 months have him back and operate on the remaining anuerysm, it will be a very big procedure, but if succesful, be better than walking around with a ticking time bomb. He does not expect to be able to earn a living for most of 2013.The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. (Abraham Lincoln)0
