wow so many pages to read, must be the snow keeping everyone in:rotfl:
was hoping to pynm tonight but tbh mine are a mess:(I think it was when the beautician removed the shellac she had to be quite rough with some nails and used an orange stick to scrap it off:eek::eek::eek:as two nails had lines across which cracked very low down on the nail:(:(:(:(:(so fed up as they were lovely over Christmas.Fed up as cancelled my facial for tomorrow but as skin is cracked and red round my nose it did not seem like a good idea.
am using clinique moisture surge throughout the day to try and improve it,al least I seem to have stopped streaming now(tissue sales soared near me last week!)but it has settled on my chest so still not feeling great:(

hoping my LIb prize will arrive today,no idea what it is but am so hoping for the weekend away near Ascot tho OH says not to hold my breathe!

need to brave the cold and go into my bedroom to search out stuff for the swap.the insurance man is due this week so hopfully we can then get the bed repaired as tho it is nice in the spare room all my toiletries and clothes are in our old room.

Just looked up which companies do test on animals still and was surprised to see that a lot of cosmetic companies still do!

It is shocking and disgusting, isn't it?
That's why I support Lush because they don't test the ingredients or the final product on animals:T

One more UU : ted baker bath soak

WNBA the fragrance is pleasant but it was part of a set and its been lying around for yrs as I don't really do bubble baths (although am ATM to use up bubble bath)

Was just in boots up the road from my house (dangerous) and they had ONE Dove set left sitting in the 75% I grabbed it but then put it back as all I'd really have used was the body wash the biggest thing in the box is bubble bath so I decided it wasn't worth it

I was trying to count up my volume of body butter I have about 6 litres of the stuff!

Pleased that you are feeling a little better, have you tried the head over bowl of hot water, covered with towel trick, even just plain hot water will help loosen the stuff on your chest/in your nose.

Boo to the poorly nails, I only ever had it done at a salon owned by a friend's daughter, who was very gentle and patient at removing the polish, but have seen others who have suffered. Even so it dried my nails out badly and I will only use it again for really special occasions, shame as it looks amazing:(

I have an aromastone too - it's much safer than using an oil burner with a candle, keep it on my bedside table so I can use at night and it doesn't matter if I fall asleep with it on.

Thank you indiepanda - that website looks great. Def thinking about ordering myself an aromastone and that book when I get paid on Friday! I can justify it to myself by thinking that it will give me more UU's ;) I have a fair few essential oils laying around that I have never used due to not really knowing how!

On superscrimpers I saw them use essential oil in the air vents of a car I think, instead of buying an air freshner. Might have to try that out too.

Yes it is! I couldn't believe it to be honest, I don't understand why this still happens. I am going to be really careful about the toiletries I buy in future. I was shocked to see that some of the perfumes I own, the companies that make them use animal testing!!!
