My drama continued long after I went to sleep tonight, OH took me out for coffee to cheer me up this morning and now perving on QVC. Sorry for being such a miserable cow at the moment guys

No apology necessary, hope things get better soon. Keep your chin up, sending you a big hug meantime :grouphug:

Hmm perhaps I will count up my stash today too. Heavy snow here again so not planning on going out anytime soon.

 I feel guilty that I have triggered this LIB lust!!

Think it was kinda my fault :o It is such a good site though :D I like that you can see what are in the boxes and know that you'll use most/all of the items before ordering rather than just getting 'pot luck' like most BB

Now you've got your list, you might find it helps to break into down into sections, bath, body etc I found this useful as I was forever buying things I didn't need just because I didn't know what I had or that I hadn't actually run out of say shower gel for example (fat chance!) :rotfl:

Yeah it does look great. I like that about it too, means you (ideally!) don't end up with loads of stuff that you won't use. I have resisted ordering anything as of yet. Do you usually get the little boxes, the luxury samples, or the collections?
  • at home with the flu :/ but at least I get to catch up on things at home.

    UU:
Lush pink fun - I made loads of bubbles with this and a nice warm bath is helping with my congestion right now

Other than my bath products, all my other products seem to be really really LHJ's.

Thanks for this, I've only ever applied it to underneath my eye so good to know! I must admit I had to Google whether to put it on before or after moisturiser too, general consensus seemed to be after
I always understood that eye cream should be put after serums, but before facial moisturiser. This is to stop the heavier face cream seeping into the eye area.

...and a TA: TBS Passionfruit Body Butter. WIBA? I love the consistency and I love the smell, but by the time I had opened it it had pretty much already gone! To be fair, I'd had it for a good while, but it had never been opened and was still wrapped in its plastic. I've never had that with a Body Shop product before. I've finally admitted defeat...

Was looking at an old thread about sugar soap on here last night and you'd posted there, small world hey! :D

How did you know this was coming up? I'd be interested to see how much it is on for, because I love the LE stuff and the mask sounds good to me. I think it will be more money than I have to spend before pay day on the 31st but we will see.

On a website called shoppingtelly.com. There's a forum on there where TSVs are discussed. I've found it's a good way to figure out whether the kit is value rather than sitting watching QVC and being tempted to buy by their "jump to the phones, there are only 60 million kits left" tactics. lol

Ok, at the moment I am using Liz Earle - C&P, toner and moisturiser (light) and Clinique 'All About Eyes' eye cream (my DH goes to America for business so he stocks up on this and the Naturally Glossy Mascara as it's so much cheaper over there!)

I haven't got much in my stash (I tend to pass things on to my mum or SIL if it's something I don't get on with) but I do have:

    LE gentle exfoliator
    Mudd Mask
Johnson's Gentle Exfoliating Wash (I love this, very gentle)
Montagne Jeunesse Peel Off Mask sachet
    Nivea eye-make up remover
    Green Peopl'Hit The Spot' oil
Freederm gel (only bought in the last couple of weeks, but I like it, it doesn't make the skin flakey)
Clean & Clear deep cleansing lotion for sensitive skin
Astral light & creamy (currently using as body lotion)
    E45 lotion
    Simple rich moisturising lotion
and a Dove gentle exfoliating soap bar, which I don't remember buying!!!

    Make-up wise I use

    Green People mineral make-up
    CLinique All About Eyes concealer
    LE concealor
Body Shop pressed powder (tried LE and it gave me a major break out!)

Not sure if this helps or not!! I'm not a snob, I'll try anything cheap or premium......before I discovered LE I was known as the Clarins Queen....any thoughts about Clarins products? I haven't used them in a while. Though I'd be more than happy to find an own brand product that worked!!!!!

Has your skin reacted all the time that you have been using LE? I've heard other people complain about this reaction with her products. I've never used Clarins? Were these products ok for you? Did you stop using because of the cost?
    Hi
    I'm delurking LOL

Having spent far too much in the Boots sale I'm going to try and organise the toiletry stash. I still have loads of No7 vouchers that I am tempted to use on skincare.

Is No7 skincare worth it? Do the vouchers come round often?

I'm going to use up my toiletries as part of being nice to myself - sometimes I am my own worst enemy.

List to be posted up once I have a bit of time to organise the stash.

I've never got on with No. 7 skincare but it's not to say you won't. Protect & Perfect congests my skin. Other products that I have found have not affected it adversely but also haven't done anything and I've found other brands that are more suited to my skin.

The vouchers come around quite often.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!
