I popped into b00ts at lunchtime and there was just one small shelving unit in the sale, had been the 50% sale line last week, nothing left really apart from England slippers, grow your own herbs and some strange robot ragdolly things.

Ouch, Roguey! Your day looks painful x

Rose body milk sample from l'occitane- WBA because it was suprisingly moisturising.

Ren Moroccan Rose Otto Body Wash 50ml - liked this but not sure if its any better than other shower gels. Back to the full size BS one thats already open.
Crabtree & Evelyn Rosewater Age Defying Hand Remedy 25ml - found this a little too runny. Have opened Clarins mini from stash.

:pDon't want to sound like a teenager but OMG! I have to include mini sample sized toiletries too? Double EEK!:eek:I've a whole toiletries bag full of them for/from nights away and freebies I've sent off for. I might end up in triple figures if I add them :rotfl:
  • :o hi everyone

    Small confession from me,

    INs

    2x fcuk body sprays
    2x BS cucumber cleanser

Both items are my HGs though and I had run out of both so they are justified purchases, also they were both on sale, the body sprays in particular were bargains.

Oh, and another IN but I was given it by my mum, a small pot of fcuk body cream.

No UUs up yet this month to balance them out :( taking part in this challenge really has made me realise how few products I would go out and buy again, a lot of the stuff in my stash I don't even really like

    Oh, well must keep going!

Hey ladies :) Apologies for being AWOL lately, was cramming for my exam (which was yesterday) so can now put that whole sorry business behind me and back into the much nicer business of using up toiletries! :D

Good luck with the exam - hope it went ok and you don't have to wait too long to find out the results.

Am rattling along this month with more OUTs:

Smashbox smashing image eye liner - loved this, I had hit the pan and made good headway into revealing more silver at the bottom of the pot and then the lid broke - as it was no longer air tight when closed have taken the decision to bin it as it will go hard. Don't feel too bad as I had used quite a lot of it. WBA but have other eyeliners to turn my attention to next. This had a lovely shade of green in it - have now started using a Bobbi Brown ivy shimmer eye liner. Think I prefer the S'box though if I am honest.

L'Occitane vanillla bourbon shea soap - love L'Occ soaps but have a soap mountain to climb and conquer before I buy more..

Clinique gentle foaming cleanser - WBA but have now started a Gatineau primrose face wash (400ml) which I know will be a LHJ. Plus I have other face washes to UU so won't be buying any time soon. Hopefully Clinique won't discontinue this one.

Hope you are all warm and well. I avoided the Boots sale and don't feel any remorse - in previous years I would have been mourning the fact I hadn't managed to get there. A corner has been turned I think...

Same here, I have a LOT more WNBA than WBA. I'm going to really try and be more careful with my buying in future. I have bought too many cheap and nasty products simply because of their price or an offer. And I have bought too many rubbish expensive products because of the hype.

If I managed to use that many products in a year I would have no stash at all! Do you have lots of mini products orare you a prolific user of toiletries (that sounds a little wrong...)

Its a bit of both really, when I started the challenge I had around 230 items all told (as I kept finding things after I'd made the original list - it really was a stash in many ways!). A lot of these although maybe full size were already opened and part used which made them quicker UU, other things were minis or single use like bath bombs. I've TA a few things which had either gone off or were really horrid and I couldn't think anyone else would want them! I've also GA quite a bit to friends and family.

I did find that my UU really started to slow down at the end of the year but got more minis for Christmas and in sales so January has picked back up a bit. I hope to graduate in a fashion at some point this year.

You'll be surprised how quickly the UU rack up.

    I also feel very virtuous.

I have just realised I have been doing this challenge for three months today. In that time I have used up 80 items and saved £163, saving £2 for ever UU at the end of the month and putting money in the pot to avoid my spending on special offers.

I'm also paying off my credit card as part of the 'pay off all your debt by Xmas 2013' challenge.

As I've looked at my stash and am determined to avoid any toiletries Ins for 100 days, I decided to use my toiletries slush fund to make another payment to the credit card.

I am therefore 15 days in to my challenge to clear my debt and am 25% there!! 4% has come directly from this challenge, but a lot more has come from my stopping buying unnecessary toiletries. I used to spend £30 in Boots on an average weekend, and instead I've spent less than £100 in 3 months!

    Happy dance!

Well done, that's brilliant, you must be so pleased! :T

I've decided that I'm not going to go then I can't be tempted. I think I deserve a round of applause!

Well done, I didn't :o but will report my stash later.
Can't believe the shoppers though sweeping items off the shelf and rather scary
Life is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.
