  • I'm close to sinning....... Nails inc TSV, on AD too!!!!

Oh my, I really, really want to be strong, but that leather look polish......:o

Must not watch any more Q today.

I will try my best, but promisses cannot be made. I'm hoping that posting on here will give me the strength to keep away for the phone/web.

I too was tempted, but seeing as I have not polished my nails for 6 weeks and I own in excess of 300 polishes, I managed to refrain:rotfl::rotfl:

You could try what I do sometimes if the whole collections seem a step too far and I want 1 or 2 particular polishes; note the names and plug them into an e-bay search, there will almost certainly be some up for grabs as people take delivery and sell on the ones they do not want.

  • :j:j I have another UU.

Body shop earth lovers lemon and thyme shower gel 250ml

WIBA? Whilst I appreciate the biodegradable nature of the shower gel and that it isn't tested on animals I found the product was fairly thin and took a lot to lather. I tend to find body shop products smell great to begin with and then I must become used to them quickly! don't think I would buy again, but I have an alternative scent of this product in the stash still to use.

Going to pull a miniature out of the stash to use next, to keep the momentum rolling.

Off to run a bath, worked an extra 3 hours on top of my usual 7 hour day and my neck and shoulders are killing me!

Yay 300 outs :cool2: Must avoid temptation to treat myself!

If I managed to use that many products in a year I would have no stash at all! Do you have lots of mini products or are you a prolific user of toiletries (that sounds a little wrong...)

Should have more outs later when I sort stash. Was just sitting here minding my own business in my dressing gown (waiting home for washing machine today) and two men on a cherry picker sailed past the window, which was a bit unexpected, I live on the second floor. Good job it wasn't half an hour earlier when I'd just got out of the shower :eek::eek:

We've just moved in to a brand new house that has no curtains up yet. Met one of the neighbours the other day, and by where his eyes landed on me, well I'm fairly sure I've accidentally flashed him

Of course everyone sniggers when I tell them....if only!!!

You know what they say, a change (of bed) is as good as a rest!!
  • Hi guys! I'm feeling a bit virtuous today. I know it's off-topic for toiletries but I was walking home from work and really fancied some sweets and a fizzy drink but I MADE myself walk past the shops and not buy anything. So I had another NSD :D

I did my nails on Sunday night but even after thinning down the nail polish it was still gloopy and wouldn't dry when I went to bed the sheets made impressions on them :( then at work when I was handling papers, they left red marks on the white paper!

TA: No7 Stay Perfect Nail Colour in Temptress, WNBA

UU: Liz Earle Orange Flower Botanical Body Wash, 200ml - cut this open and was very impressed that there was none left in the bottle! WBA, have another bottle in stash :)

Trying hard to resist the Boots sale tomorrow, still have 2 bags of stuff from last year as well as BS from previous offers. I know I don't need anything but it doesn't make it any easier ...

  • I also feel very virtuous.

I have just realised I have been doing this challenge for three months today. In that time I have used up 80 items and saved £163, saving £2 for ever UU at the end of the month and putting money in the pot to avoid my spending on special offers.

I'm also paying off my credit card as part of the 'pay off all your debt by Xmas 2013' challenge.

As I've looked at my stash and am determined to avoid any toiletries Ins for 100 days, I decided to use my toiletries slush fund to make another payment to the credit card.

I am therefore 15 days in to my challenge to clear my debt and am 25% there!! 4% has come directly from this challenge, but a lot more has come from my stopping buying unnecessary toiletries. I used to spend £30 in Boots on an average weekend, and instead I've spent less than £100 in 3 months!

    Happy dance!
  • And from tonights bath:

83 Lush mask of magnamity - last of the tub WBA but will use up some of my other face masks before repurchase.
84 Another bomb cosmetic bath bomb - WNBA thankfully the last from the giftset. My daughter has been poorly today and at least me picking the black seeds from my armpit made her laugh out loud.
85 Clarins toner for combination skin - WMBA. Although Ive been convinced that I should use toner im not really sure what its supposed to do. Perhaps its because I prefer wash off cleansers rather than ones that are to be taken off with cotton wool.

As I was off work today due to my daughters illness I was at home to receive my glossyboxes so 10 more ins. I wont post the contents in case I spoil the surprise for anyone but I wasnt overwhelmed. There again seems to be quite a few variations this month.

    Debt-free and Proud!
    Hi all!

Ok, I finally got round to sorting out what I actually have - eek! is the word.

10 bubble baths (mostly gifts, rarely have baths)
    10 shower gels
    5 body scrubs
    13 body lotions
    3 body dry-oil sprays
    2 hand creams
    3 foot creams
    5 facial moisturisers
    3 eye creams
    5 shampoos
5 conditioners (incl. 2 leave in conditioning sprays)
    2 deos
    4 packs face wipes

69 items by my quick reckoning! About 2/3 of these are opened, a few almost empty (gonna use these first) some are smaller travel sizes (100ml)

Haven't included the toiletries I have in my gym bag.

Right, off I go to start this challenge
