No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries in January 2013

Just lost a full post how very
Three UU this morning! Sanctuary Stop The Clock Moisturiser - WNBA - Wanted to love this as smells so nice, texture is lovely and its a pleasure to apply but its just a bit too rich for my skin. Even waiting as suggested before applying makeup it still left my face looking a bit oily and didn't seem to sink it completely all day. As a night cream or for dryer skin I think it would be great.
Elie Saab Le Parfum - WNBA - Not at all unpleasant and I can see why others like this but not me, I generally prefer something lighter. I've currently got a mini challenge with myself not to use any of the perfume I got for Christmas until I've used up a full sized bottle from the existing stash. JPG is looking good at the moment, I'm down to her bottom :rotfl:
Finally, Sanctuary Body Scrub - WBA - Really nice, scrubby and not at all oily or greasy - classic Sanctuary fragrance that reminds me of furniture polish, in a good way!
Should have more outs later when I sort stash. Was just sitting here minding my own business in my dressing gown (waiting home for washing machine today) and two men on a cherry picker sailed past the window, which was a bit unexpected, I live on the second floor. Good job it wasn't half an hour earlier when I'd just got out of the shower :eek::eek:0 -
Yay 300 outs :cool2: Must avoid temptation to treat myself!0

UU this morning:
John Frieda Volume Refresher spray 125ml. WNBA, this didn't do anything! Thankfully I won it, I'd be annoyed if I'd paid £6 for this!0 -
Rosemary - the bed collapsing must have been a nasty shock, I hope you get it sorted.
we called the insureres yesterday(OH was just going to fix it himself but I said maight as well try them)we have to pay £100 excess but if they agree the claim they will pay us for a new bed(not sure what they will base the cost on)BUT we cannot fix the bed even temp whilst waiting AND they cannot come till fri 25th:mad:it was going to be the tuesday afternoon but they would not agree to after 1.30 when I will be home. What we would have done if that had been our only bed I don't know and they never asked!Of course everyone sniggers when I tell them....if only!!!0 -

My DS1 left for a new life in the RAF today, and I have been a bit emotional to say the least. (still mopping tears hours later) I am doing Slimming World, so can't eat for comfort like I normally would, I am also doing Dryathlon for January, so no alcohol either , so I did the next best thing, I bought a bottle of perfume. I'm awfully sorry!
1 in for me
I think that is very much OK. Will you see him again soon?wondercollie wrote: »Forgive me people for I have fallen and it's bad.
Picked up a Lancome pallette in the duty free.
Dior pallette arrived from the Secret Admirerer programme from the Dior Cancer charities auction. It's beautiful.
Glossybox arrived. Two moisturizers, a dry hairspray, false eyelashes, an Avon lipgloss and a Revlon nailpolish. Huge mess with GB we found out that the Avon and Revlon products didn't come from the companies and are season old. Some people said the Avon products were separated and nasty. Huge drama on the Facebook page, if bored look up Glossybox Canada.
Out:
Angel and Demons perfume samples x3. Not me. Glad it was samples
John Frieda Shampoo for colour treated hair
John Frieda Conditioner for colour treated hair.
Facebook samples. Very nice but very pricy. If I ever run out of products, would buy.
The Glossybox sounds much more trouble than it is worth, I would pack it in.Just lost a full post how very

I live in a flat and the management company never gives us warning when they get the window cleaners in...
I'm afraid I have sinned. I went into The Body Shop (I have managed to avoid it up to now). I got two of the cherry blossom sets and a set of lip balms. I also got some solid perfume as I signed up for the card.0 -
One IN today - Macleans toothpaste - almost out of our current and would rather buy it when i was in town today0

I'll not see him now til March for his passing out parade, and that's just for half a day. After that when he gets his posting, I can go visit at weekends and stuff. Trouble being logistics, so it's not as easy as it sounds. I live in Shetland and he's now in Aylesbury!0
