No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries in January 2013

Have a uu today
Clinique Moisture Surge - 50ml, I have more in the stash but didn't find it quite moisturising enough for this time of year plus my skin has been dry with having had a bad cold.
Am avoiding the Boots sale, I don't need or really want anything and they will have another next year when I probably will need something.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

Hey ladies
Apologies for being AWOL lately, was cramming for my exam (which was yesterday) so can now put that whole sorry business behind me and back into the much nicer business of using up toiletries!
A couple of UUs to declare:
Soap & Glory glad hair day shampoo - smelt ok but didn't foam up much. Was a gift but wouldn't buy myself.
No7 Protect & Perfect Night cream - a gift from a buddy on one of the swaps here. Quite liked it as it was thin and gentle, would probably be my backup to my beloved L'Occitane Angelica day cream
And one IN:
Toni & Guy Sea Salt Texturising spray (freebie product test, I now have 2 of these!)
I think I can now say I've graduated in shampoos (not that I ever had a massive hoard anyway). I'm on my final bottle now with one small sample bottle in stock so will have to start buying again soon. According to my lists I used up 6 bottles of shampoo last year and 1 so far this year.
Hope everyone is well in this chilly weather."Why, this is hell, nor am I out of it."0 -

Great news that the exam is behind you.
Noelphobic, so pleased about your son's good news.
I am sure that they were other congratulations and comiseration due, but have been behind with posts, so keep warm and well everyone and hugs where they are needed. The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. (Abraham Lincoln)0 -
Forgive me everyone for i have sinned! I went to boots 75% sale at my local earlier and came back with the large soap and glory set! It was £15, but as i said before i love the shower gel which is just over £5 on it's own. It also comes with a mascara which has great reviews online, and as i bought one last month which was cheap and makes my eyes itchy, i was planning on replacing it so i could TA it. Out of 9 items i am only keeping 7 and will gift/sell the other 2 i do not need/use.
It also came with 9 vouchers to use until march so is worth the money if you use the products. Can't wait to use the mascara and throw my cheap one out! This was the only toiletries i was planning on buying so there won't be anymore INs for me this month!0 -
1 UU - a Sanctuary body scrub blue flavour. This had become part of the furniture in the bathroom, and must have sat opened in the same place for at least 6 years! I decided to finally use it and I enjoyed it. WBA0

I agree re the BS conditoner, I still have a small one that needs Using up.0 -
I won't be visiting the boots sale either, I'm not buying anything this month (or next month) and to be honest don't really need anything at the moment. They only things I think I'll need in the next few months is Toner and Body Lotion but hoping to get to March (or hopefully April) without needing to buy anything. There are some products, that I won't need to buy for a very very long time.0

I popped into b00ts at lunchtime and there was just one small shelving unit in the sale, had been the 50% sale line last week, nothing left really apart from England slippers, grow your own herbs and some strange robot ragdolly things.
Ouch, Roguey! Your day looks painful x0 -
