I've found my Olay gentle cleanser has been aggravating my eczema, so I'm trying double cleansing using the olay cleanser first with a hot cloth and following up with No7 Brightening cleanser with a hot cloth as the second cleanse. I was still finding loads of mascara coming off with the second cleanse though, the olay cleanser just feels watery and drying all at once.
Just added a new found stash that should hopefully be the last, the stash list tops out at 324
I'd ditch the Olay if it's causing a flare up. No point in punishing your skin. xrogueylawyer wrote: »Oh dear, my hoarding problem knows no bounds!
I've started a new challenge, having discovered I have hoarded 25 litres of cleaning products... I'm sure you lovely ladies are far too clean and scented to join me in this one but should anyone else have a hoarding problem, feel free to join me!

Woah 25 litres!! Must admit it was only when we had a leak under the kitchen sink some time ago that I pulled all the products out and realised I was planning for a siege in that respect as well. Don't do it as much now so won't join this challenge thanks.
Another UU though: 30ml tube of Elemis Pro Radiance Cleanser. Have others in stash care of the last QVC TSV and think I'll use these before using up the Lime Blossom Cleanser I have in stash as this is my HG really. I do like the Pro Radiance but feel the Lime Blossom does as it says on the tin in that it does balance my skin out.
Will probably have another couple of INs later as my roots are desperate to be redone and the L'Oreal Preference colourants are on special offer in quality save at 2 for £10.00.
Have a great day all. xBack for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Have a couple more UU to report;
TBS Pink Grapefruit Body butter - Not too keen on body butters if I'm honest because they make my skin feel really sticky, but this was probably the one that made me feel the least like that.
Biore UV Perfect Face Milk SPF50 - My HG face primer. It takes ages to get here from Asia and I really notice how oily my skin gets without it!Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 20170 -

UU Vaseline hand cream - this was the one that sat on my desk at work, it was OK. I liked that it was completely non greasy so it didn't stop me from working straight after using it. Will replace it with something from the stash - I think I have a couple of small L'Occitane ones unopened.0

Hi!
Just had a quick read of the thread, not that much of it went in though
I have a drawer full of body lotions, face creams and general smellies and a make-up bag full of old make-up that needs throwing (I've bought a new eye palette recently and got a Body shop one at xmas so time to bin I think)
I'm going to go home tonight and tally up all I possess. My problem is that when I get something new, I like to try it so end up with loads on the go. I also like to mix n match with my mood/the occasion so like to have a selection. Will also tally up how much I've bought for myself and how much was a gift.
I reckon I must have close to 40, probably half of them opened.
My tip for splutterers if it's a tube is I chop the end of to scoop out all the remaining bits. If you chop half way down you can kind of use the chopped off end as a lid over the open end0 -

Sunshineyday - well done re the ciggies, hopefully you will feel so much better and have more dosh too.
And - now that I don't go out to work I do not shower every day either. I also use a crystal deodorant on days that I am not leaving the house. I too was brought up on the wash daily, bath weekly regime, and I find I can do a quick washdown in far less time than a shower. I love a soak in a bath a couple of times a week too and my hair is better for washing every 2nd or 3rd day, as a sometime eczema sufferer I find I have less irritation. In the summer when I am gardening a daily shower or bath is a must though:eek:.
OH and I got to the hospital yesterday to find my brother had been moved from Critical Care to High Dependancy and joy of joys he was awake and able to talk to us, he is a bit gobsmacked by it all, but remembered his helicoptor journey. OH was ragging him as the family had bought him a helicoptor trip for his 50th birthday last summer, and he had not had time to take it. If all goes well he should be moved to a normal ward in a few days, hopefully then his little daughter (9) will be able to visit him.
Sorted through my lipsticks, going to try a different one each day, I think a few more will be TA, some I think will not suit me now my hair colour has changed. Does anyone have any recs for a good lip brush, I can't get away with applying from the tube anymore:(
Thanks everyone for your support, it has been a huge help.:A:A
Great news about your brother.0 -
Due to having stash I'm not planning on renewing beauty box subscription when it runs out. Surprisingly DH was disappointed as he thinks its nice for me to having something coming in the post every month that I can look forward to. So trying to think of some different I could get instead, but can't think of anything. So only thing I can think of is giving myself £10 every month that I can spend on something I want (rather than need). What do you think?
I'm also planning on making my sister a beauty box out of the stash for her birthday in a couple of months time.0 -
