OH and I got to the hospital yesterday to find my brother had been moved from Critical Care to High Dependancy and joy of joys he was awake and able to talk to us, he is a bit gobsmacked by it all, but remembered his helicoptor journey. OH was ragging him as the family had bought him a helicoptor trip for his 50th birthday last summer, and he had not had time to take it. If all goes well he should be moved to a normal ward in a few days, hopefully then his little daughter (9) will be able to visit him.

I know what you mean. And why is it that the products you are not that keen on are the ones that never end!0 -

I'm trying all sorts of things to use up products I'm not keen on. I've found my Olay gentle cleanser has been aggravating my eczema, so I'm trying double cleansing using the olay cleanser first with a hot cloth and following up with No7 Brightening cleanser with a hot cloth as the second cleanse. I was still finding loads of mascara coming off with the second cleanse though, the olay cleanser just feels watery and drying all at once.
Just added a new found stash that should hopefully be the last, the stash list tops out at 3240 -
maddiemay that's fantastic news about your brother.
My no buy only lasted until Saturday when I bought a Bliss set in Debs. It was a bargain at £19 causing my willpower to crumble....but why was I browsing the beauty hall?
Ins:
Bliss lemon and sage body butter - supersize 414ml
Bliss lemon and sage soapy suds - 473ml

UU:
Lush bath bombs: think pink, melting marshmallows, butterball, candy mountain - love them all, so sweet and candy floss scented
Loads of splutterers and a swap box with a friend, so I should have a lot more UU's/GA's soon.No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries Challenge

Oh dear, my hoarding problem knows no bounds!
I've started a new challenge, having discovered I have hoarded 25 litres of cleaning products... I'm sure you lovely ladies are far too clean and scented to join me in this one but should anyone else have a hoarding problem, feel free to join me!

Hello ladies.
Maddiemay- that's great news. Here's hoping his trajectory remains.
I have some outs:
The Sanctuary body scrub- 50ml. WBA because I love the smell. I have loads of the little bottles though.
No7 mascara in the green tube. My HG mascara so yes
Generic cheapy mascara- wnba because it was awful.
I'm now onto Benefit badgal lash- the brush is AWFUL. I've taken the comb brush from the no 7 mascara and i'm using that instead.0 -

That's great news maddiemay. Am so pleased for you and your family. Didn't need to buy anything (shower gel, shampoo, conditioner etc) for about 9months. And since then I've done really well. Not overbought, odd essential things stocked up when on 342 like toothpaste.
But the main reason I'm posting is that I have just had my final UU from the stash of stuff I wanted to get rid of, 2 years on!!! :j:j:j:j:j:j:j. It's TIGI Bed Head Control Freak Serem 250ml. I bought this few years back and whilst it's ok, I've found better hair stuff (and cheaper!). But I was determined to use it up! It's taken forever, especially now I have long hair and don't wash it daily! But it's finally empty! :rotfl:

Well done. I think the oldest thing I have in my stash now is a shower gel I bought from Avon as a "qualifier" for a free gift or bonus item. Note to self: pull it out next Val, get rid! lolI know what you mean. And why is it that the products you are not that keen on are the ones that never end!
That's why we call them LHJ lol xBack for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!
