No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries in January 2013

Hence I am ignoring the TSV today - I just don't feel I have to switch fragrances anymore. I used to contribute to the DVD and books thread and I remember the posters being quite friendly on them. I remember Inapickle was on the DVD one at the same time as me.

I had a proper clear out of the bathroom yesterday however only threw out old medicines really. My stash is kept in my room so the items in the bathroom are all in use. Did throw away a LG I Care pencil and some make up brushes. Will put £1.00 in jar in relation to this.

Have a couple of splutterers at the mo: nail lacquer remover which I'm going to get Emma to replace today as no doubt she will use up the last of it later when getting her nails ready for school tomorrow. The other one is a small tube of Elemis Pro Radiance Cleanser although I reckon there are still a few days' worth of product left in there.

I did buy a couple more bottles of OPI on Wednesday as Sallys was selling them off at £4.44 (incl VAT) and it seemed rude not to. Bought On Her Majesty's Secret Service and Skyfall (back up bottle. This colour is so gorgeous). Was wearing OHMSS up until yesterday (am now wearing OPI Red Lights Ahead ... Where? which is a dupe of Leighton Denny I Love Juicy so won't feel the need to repurchase this one!).

Mine was only £3 as well but with this and the 10% love your body card discount it worked out slightly better than the current 40% off online and dh was getting rather low. Hopefully there will be 50% off online soon and I can stock up.

We "did Christmas" rather late with step children and step grand children, had a lovely day, scrumptious pub lunch and NO toiletries as pressies.

Called into a much bigger branch of Boots than my small town branch, bought the Hydraluron (planned purchase), looked at the gift sets, but my only other buy was some velcro hair rollers, again planned purchase, and two 1/2 price shower gels for OH. Did not buy even a single nail polish either.

Eta : this was ACTUALLY my 2nd UU but as the first one only had one use left in it I kind of forgot about it!

I love this body butter too, got a set in the sales as well as a small cocoa butter one and have tried the mango body scrub this morning but was really disappointed with it - it smells gorgeous but reminds me of S&G Flakeaway in that its really oily/greasy even used prior to body wash plus I'd like it to be a bit more scrubby. Love the body butters and washes though and the whole ethos behind Extracts.

I am actually ashamed to post this list up. My new expanded list includes aromatherapy products and a few other things the house move has brought to light, along with Xmas.

My new total is 313 :eek::eek: It includes just shy of 3 litres of shower gel and bath products, 800ml of cleanser, 500 ml of moisturiser, 2 litres of body lotions and butters, 1 litre of scrub, just under a litre of hand lotion, 1.5 litres of hand wash and 1.5 kilograms of soap.

Hi guys im new to MSE and thought I could join this thread as I am literally buried in toiletries atvmy house yet always find myself lurking around boots and the body shop.

One thing I have currently run out of however is face moisturiser, ibtried a really good dermalogica one which was a free sample but cant bring myself to justify a £30 spend for a moisturiser. Does anyone have any cheaper reccomendations? I havd oily skin prone to blackheads and breakouts :-(
