Am hiding out in the dining room. Every time I sit down someone climbs on me. DD is now lazing on a the sofa, and if I pretend I'm not here she might nod off. Especially since DS has just turned the tv off. Although he is now chatting about in the loo.

I'm researching a few things (or trying to!)
    Cake decorating, for DS birthday
    Cabin beds (also for DS)
    Holidays. Somewhere sunny

    Argh, they are following me...

    Mortgage-free Glee!
    Hello everyone

if its ok i think I will join in this thread. Am I right in that there is a new one starts today for next week?

I am in need of some structure behind what I do in my house as at the moment I just look at the amount I need to do and dont bother at all.

I work quite long hours and its just me so the mess just accumulates over the week and I spend the weekend having to sort it all. I would love to get a one day back from the weekend.

I have had a read through and it will definitely be small steps during the week but I am determined to start to do something everyday to free up some weekend time.

Lamewolf that's very organised of you getting the lawn mower sorted out already - we're not that efficient here.
Thank you - actually, we're late doing it this time, normally I try and get this done as soon as we know we're not going to cut the grass again til spring, so that it gets put away for the winter all clean and oiled and sharpened, and ready for use.:o

Just had 2 teenager girls walk past here with their dogs and I saw out the window 1 of the dogs stopped for a poo and she let it do it right beside our front gate - I went outside and asked her to pick it up and was told they were getting some bags but I bet they won't be back. That drives me mad :mad::mad::mad:.
Errrrggghhh, I hate people who don't "scoop the poop". It's horrid when you inadvertently go through it in a wheelchair, it gets on hands, sleeves, everywhere. I reckon if I can scoop from my position on a mobility buggy, then someone able-bodied flippin' well can, too! Any dog-walker with an ounce of sense keeps bags on them, in any case - I have a supply in the backpack on the buggy at all times!
Sorry, it's a real "pet hate" of mine.

Hoping Miss Moo is feeling a lot better; I sympathise - being "uncle d!ck" as a former colleague used to say, is unpleasant, and sadly a regular feature of my own illness, (some mornings I barely leave the bathroom!!) so I really feel for little ones suffering with it. Lets hope the lurgy bypass Master Moo.;)

Bonnie when I have something go missing, I generally blame the household Dragons, and loudly demand that whoever took it should GIVE IT BACK!! NOW!! Surprisingly, it often works.:D Failing that, flame-scrying - light a candle, look into the flame, and visualise when you last know you had it and work forward from there.
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

totally agree with you on the not picking up poop hate, we live next to a park and the irresponsible dog walker really give the good owners a bad name. i hate seeing it all over the paths and park.

hope your purse turns up safe Bonnie and soon.

hope little bossy is feeling better now and hasnt passed the lurge on to anyone else in the house.

  • Well my purse is good at hide and seek - I've even been through the bins!!

Just cancelled all the cards and my Mum is on her way with cash to see me through the week until the replacements arrive :A There was no cash in the purse and nothing else of value, oh, my driving licence photo card, I need to report that then. Apparently a debit of £2 has been put through on my current account debit card (????) but is not yet showing on my online banking statement; if anything comes out of my current account I need to phone back and report as fraudulent.

Thank you for all your vibes... I'm still sure it's in the house somewhere so it should turn up at some point in the future

    Love to all xx

Hiya! Congratulations on the rats (I love furry pets, but not sure what my cats would make of them!) and the car, and here I come, a bit late, to join you. I've had a busy day already with yet more washing and loads of paper work, but want to get the last bits done and the eve meal in the oven, so I can have some ME time!! Off I go!!!

Good wishes all round, R x

Hello. A busy day here in Jazee's joint. In no particular order, between us DH and I have hoovered/swept/mopped the house, taken down Xmas decs and put them and other stuff in the loft, cleaned car inside and out, been in gym, walked the dogs, sorted recycling and tidied the gardens. It is now ME time (until I have to make tea that is!).

Have a great evening everyone. See you in the next thread.
