Don't get me wrong, I wanted them to get back together but he has left me out of pocket a bit

I think once I update my accounts at the end of the month I will feel a bit better, even if all I have paid off is £50, it's at least going the right way
It doesn't help that I'm under a lot of pressure at work. I haven't stopped today. I'm hoping I get recognized for all this extra work I'm doing because I have been working my behind off!

A small chunk of the debt is better than skinting yourself to make a huge payment.
Sorry that you've been having a stressful time at work and I hope that you do get some recognition for all your hard work. x0 -
Well my team leader has just rung me, sort of unexpected, I think he noticed today that I was running round like a headless chicken and rang to make sure everything was okay. I told him how I felt and he has said that he is going to put a good word in for the work I have been doing. So I feel a little better about that. Nice of him to see how I was though. I'm usually quite chatty at work and I've been really quiet the past couple of days just through not having time to even nip to the loo!!!
Hopefully things will start to look up x xDebt Free Target Date: December 2014

Aww, thank you Mara

Well, today marks the last day of the first month of my challenge
I will post stats a little later. I've only paid a month's payment of my loan this month as I seem to have gone backwards with my game plan. But I suppose throwing the ball backwards to run forwards is a good way to go!!
I had an awful night last night, massive family argument, on my own for a bit until it all calms down again. I don't like arguing anyway, I avoid it if at all possible!
Well...I got thrown a bag of fruit salad/black jacks today from one of the managers, he snapped at me a couple of weeks back, I think that was his way of saying sorry

Haha, just having a sandwich before I go do the food shopping!!
My list consists of lots of veg! I'm going to make a few vegi stews and freeze them over the weekend. I have a coupon for the local co-op for £3 off when I spend £15. My weekly shop is usually around that price anyway so it's a win-win!
My weekend consists of...the weekly tidy up this afternoon, then going to a friends house tonight. We all take it in turns to host and we just have a home cooked meal together. We are all feeling the pinch a little bit and it seems a great way to see everyone on a budget
Then defrost the freezer tomorrow and make a list of food that I have so I can plan my meals better. Then get the oven on and make soups and stews!
Sunday will be my lazy day. I will probably have a nice walk depending on what weather is thrown our way.
I've hurt my leg and back at work lifting some steel this week so I'm going to take advantage of this and use it as an excuse to have a nice hot bubble bath
Managed to put £10 into my savings today, just going to pop a bag of coins in the building society this afternoon before my shop. And...I've managed to get my fuel tank up to half a tank! Sounds daft but I put the same amount in each week and finally managed to reduce my mileage! I've taken to using my local village for small errands rather than popping into the main town to do anything. It seems to be saving me money too
LEG POWER FTW!!!
