  • :( I had a little moment this week. One of those where you just need a hug, it will make everything better. All is well now, the man that can gave me many hugs which made me smile :)

So far this week I have paid off £150 of an overdraft and put a but more into my savings, it's looking well. Small change is starting to add up :) My Building Society savings book is looking better than it has in years :)

  • Hi, welcome !

You have the right idea, taking small steps towards clearing your debt is the way forward. In the past i have been impatient, wanting my debts to vanish quickly but have learnt (the hard way :o ) just to keep on chipping away at that horrid mountain !

    Good luck.

  • You sound like you are doing really well ! Keep it up :)
  • Well, I've had a bit of a financial set back :(

I almost feel like I'm giving up at the first hurdle :(

Just having a rubbish time at the moment, the family is constantly falling out and ringing me for advice. I keep thinking I should just turn my phone off and tell them to leave me alone and sort their own problems out but I'm too soft :(

I have kept on with saving a little every week. So I am still keeping to my word.

I feel like I'm just waiting for overtime to come back at work. I can manage on my basic wage, I'm not spending more than I am earning anymore. So I can manage but I am running low on enthusiasm at the moment.

Thank fully there is an extra pay day in March so I use that as a bug chunk off my debt.

Eugh. This is going to be a long road. Sometimes I love being on my own but right now I just want a hug :(
