Does anyone make their own smoothies? I fancy making them but haven't a clue how to.
Read the ingredients on a innocent smoothie. But all ingredients in a blender, wollah, you have a homemade innocent smoothie.0 -
I have actually made my first smoothie using banana, frozen fruits & low fat bio yogurt.
One problem I'm still having re: diet, is getting more protein into my diet. When I look at my diet pal, I am including more protein, however, I still could do with increasing it.0 -
Do you like chickpeas, blackeyed beans, red kidney beans, butter beans etc, lots of protein in these and very tasty.
I make smoothies with bananas, spinach and water, and sometimes with bananas and strawberries and water. Very filling in the morning before the arduous journey to work.0 -

0% fat plain yogurt (there's a very good Greek one) has quite a bit of protein, as has cottage cheese, low fat cheddar etc. Unless you're doing a lot of muscle building you probably don't need as much protein as they suggest. Main thing is to keep to the calories.0 -
jox..I like all of those & have been making a point of putting them in my meals.
May have to eat some straight out of the tin.
eww don't like the sound of that spinach smoothie. A bit too die hard for me lol.0
